    Abstract: A novel sweat band absorbs perspiration on the forehead, permits unrestricted air flow to portions of the head other than the forehead, and does not dishevel the wearer's hair. The sweat band secures to a person's head in a manner other than encircling the head or securing to or being part of an article which encircles or rests upon the head, preferably by adhering to the forehead. When worn, the sweat band preferably is positioned on the forehead and does not contact the wearer's hair on the sides of the forehead.
