    Abstract: A clamp for a drill press includes a perpendicular support which can be attached to the quill of the drill press. The perpendicular support holds a compression spring which in turn is connected to an extension having a foot for engaging the work piece. As the quill is moved toward the work piece, the foot engages the work piece and the spring exerts a holding force during the drilling operation.
