  • Patent number: 11599638
Abstract: A game engine sensor of a computing device executing an operating system receives first data from the operating system that represents occurrence of a monitored event. The game engine sensor sends second data corresponding to the monitored event to a game engine logic controller. A first logic block of the game engine logic controller determines, based on the second data and third data representing a system state of the computing device, that a first predicate condition is satisfied. A second logic block of the game engine logic controller determines, based on the second data and the third data, that a second predicate condition is satisfied. A computer security threat is detected based on the first and second predicate conditions being satisfied, and at least one game engine actuator is instructed to perform at least one action responsive to the computer security threat.

  • Patent number: 9784476
Abstract: The tracking device of the present disclosure includes a platform, support structure, and a cylinder. The cylinder comprises a plunger, an interior space, an aperture, and a fluid within the cylinder. Forward actuation of the plunger within the interior space the fluid to be pushed through the aperture. The platform is operably connected to the plunger, so that movement of the plunger causes the platform to rotate about a pivot point of the support structure. The tracking device can have a solar panel connected to the platform. The tracking device can also be used in any application where tracking would be of use, such as for surveillance, or time-lapse photography.

  • Patent number: 9262044
Abstract: Methods, systems, and user interfaces facilitate social video content interaction. A video asset is optionally presented to a user of a social networking system. The video includes an audio track and a video track. Responsive to the performance of the video asset reaching a first interaction point where a representation of a person, place, or thing (PPT) is included in the audio track or depicted in the video track, an interaction user interface (UI) prompt is presented to the user that includes an interaction UI element allowing the user to provide an input that is related to the PPT. The user input that is related to the PPT is received, and a post is caused to be presented to one or more other users of the social networking system that references the user and the PPT.

  • Patent number: 9144227
Abstract: A leash that allows any individual to control a pulling dog without risking injury or walking in an unsafe manner. The disclosed leash maximizes body mechanics and basic pulley/lever principles to achieve more strength. The leash comprises a cuff that preferably wraps around a user's arm above the elbow. Attached to the cuff are a few feet of leash material that freely runs through an O-ring and ends in a handle. Attached to the O-ring are another few feet of leash ending with a clip that can go to a dog collar. When the dog pulls, the user pulls the handle. The resulting force goes through the O-ring, which acts as a pulley and on to the arm cuff and back of the arm, utilizing stronger shoulder and back muscles. Therefore the user is able to pull back with a lot more force than is obtainable with a typical leash.

  • Publication number: 20050015025
Abstract: The invention relates to a massage ball having temperature retention properties such that the user can warm or cool the ball prior to using and then roll the ball with the underside of the foot against a rigid surface to provide a massaging effect simultaneously with either a therapeutic warming or cooling effect to the foot, depending upon the need of the user.

  • Publication number: 20020025040
Abstract: An encryption key is formed by a method and apparatus that read a sequence of bytes from a memory. The sequence of bytes, which is larger than the number of bytes in the encryption key, is randomly ordered due to the source of the sequence. Each byte in the sequence is assigned to one of a number of groups where the number of groups is defined by the number of bytes in the encryption key. Each group is then reduced to a single byte to form one of the bytes of the encryption key.
