  • Publication number: 20240096312
Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a method for adaptively traversing conversation states using conversational AI to extract contextual information. The method includes (i) loading states that define a logical flow of the automated conversation and comprises a content boundary, (ii) dynamically generating a first question associated with the first conversation state by obtaining a prompt, (iii) determine whether a first response is inside or outside of the content boundary, (iv) generating in real-time a first follow-up question by (a) determining a missing content, or (b) analyzing the resume of the user, job description, (v) monitoring a second response to extract a skill level of the user, (vi) automatically computing possible paths of the conversation to obtain an updated N subsequent conversation states of the conversation, (vii) generating a second follow-up question; and (viii) repeating generating follow-up questions for adaptively traversing the N updated conversation states.

  • Patent number: 10143920
Abstract: A controller is provided. The controller includes at least one button, an object integrated with a body, and the object defined from a translucent plastic material. Further included is an inertial sensor, an LED device defined to illuminate the object, and a circuit for interpreting input data from the at least one button and the inertial sensor and for communicating data wirelessly. The circuit further configured to interface with the LED device to trigger illumination of the LED to switch from an un-illuminated state to an illuminated color. The LED device is activated depending on data received from a computing system. The activation occurring in response to a state interpreted by the computer program during execution.

  • Publication number: 20130151620
Abstract: A peer-to-peer conferencing system provides participants in a conferencing session information regarding the display capabilities of other participants so that the local displays of all the participants can appropriately notify their respective participants of differences in the display capability of a presenter during the conferencing session. The conferencing system further ensures that notifications are received at each of the participants so that each participant is able to synchronize its local display with the pace of a conferencing session.

  • Publication number: 20070298882
Abstract: A method for detecting direction when interfacing with a computer program is provided. The method includes capturing an image presented in front of an image capture device. The image capture device has a capture location in a coordinate space. When a person is captured in the image, the method includes identifying a human head in the image and assigning the human head a head location in the coordinate space. The method also includes identifying an object held by the person in the image and assigning the object an object location in coordinate space. The method further includes identifying a relative position in coordinate space between the head location and the object location when viewed from the capture location. The relative position defines a pointing direction of the object when viewed by the image capture device. The method may be practiced on a computer system, such as one used in the gaming field.

  • Publication number: 20070061851
Abstract: A system and method for conditioning execution of a control function on a determination of whether or not a person's attention is directed toward a predetermined device. The method involves acquiring data concerning the activity of a person who is in the proximity of the device, the data being in the form of one or more temporal samples. One or more of the temporal samples is then analyzed to determine if the person's activity during the time of the analyzed samples indicates that the person's attention is not directed toward the device. The results of the determination are used to ascertain whether or not the control function should be performed.

  • Publication number: 20050059488
Abstract: A method for processing interactive user control with a scene of a video clip is provided. The method initiates with identifying a head of a user that is to interact with the scene of the video clip. Then, the identified head of the user is tracked during display of the video clip, where the tracking enables detection of a change in position of the head of the user. Next, a view-frustum is adjusted in accordance with the change in position of the head of the user. A computer readable media, a computing device and a system for enabling interactive user control for defining a visible volume being displayed are also included.
