  • Patent number: 7095385
Abstract: The present invention provides an antenna engaging mechanism in a wireless communication device, which has a circuit board. The antenna engaging mechanism comprises a housing that has a nut, an antenna, and an elastic metal piece. The antenna comprises an antenna metal tube and an antenna shell covering one end of the antenna metal tube, wherein the other end has an engaging protrusion column with a taper head and a taper bottom. The elastic metal piece comprises a fixing portion for fixing the elastic metal piece and an elastic arm for holding the engaging protrusion column. While the engaging protrusion column is rotated into the nut of the housing, the taper head holds open the elastic arm. After the taper head passes, the elastic arm springs back due to the elasticity and enables the engagement of the elastic metal piece and the engaging protrusion column at the taper bottom.

  • Patent number: 6865778
Abstract: A hinge mechanism for pivotally connecting a flip onto a housing includes a bush, a spring, and a camshaft. The bush is connected to the flip and has a sidewall, a receiving space defined by the sidewall, and a protrusion. The protrusion is protruded from the sidewall. The camshaft has a first end, a second end, and a shaped notch. The shaped notch includes a first concave portion and a second concave portion, and the protrusion is slidably received within the shaped notch. The first end of the camshaft is slidably coupled to the bush, and the second end of the camshaft is restrictedly coupled to the housing. When the flip is pivoted on the housing, the bush simultaneously rotates around the pivoting axis of the hinge mechanism so that the protrusion slides within the shaped notch from the first concave portion to the second concave portion.

  • Patent number: 6775883
Abstract: A hinge mechanism for pivotally connecting a flip onto a housing includes a bush, a compression spring, and a release button. The bush has a sidewall, a receiving space defined by the sidewall, and a protrusion. The protrusion is protruded from the sidewall. The release button has a shaped notch, which includes a concave portion, a stop portion, and a convex portion formed between the concave portion and the stop portion. The stop portion extends substantially parallel to the pivoting axis. The protrusion is slidably received within the shaped notch. The compression spring is disposed within the receiving space and pressed by the release button and the bush. When closing the flip, the bush rotates synchronously with the flip and the protrusion moves in the shaped notch. When pushing the release button, the flip opens automatically.
