Abstract: A method of displaying a rear-view image and a mobile device using the method are provided. The method includes: receiving the rear-view image; displaying a virtual dashboard through a display; and displaying the rear-view image on a default area of the virtual dashboard in response to receiving a signal associated with a direction indicator light, wherein the default area corresponds to the direction indicator light.

Abstract: Methods of cutting gate structures and fins, and structures formed thereby, are described. In an embodiment, a substrate includes first and second fins and an isolation region. The first and second fins extend longitudinally parallel, with the isolation region disposed therebetween. A gate structure includes a conformal gate dielectric over the first fin and a gate electrode over the conformal gate dielectric. A first insulating fill structure abuts the gate structure and extends vertically from a level of an upper surface of the gate structure to at least a surface of the isolation region. No portion of the conformal gate dielectric extends vertically between the first insulating fill structure and the gate electrode. A second insulating fill structure abuts the first insulating fill structure and an end sidewall of the second fin. The first insulating fill structure is disposed laterally between the gate structure and the second insulating fill structure.

Abstract: A device includes a substrate; semiconductor fins extending from the substrate; a liner layer on sidewalls of the semiconductor fins; an etch stop layer over the substrate and extending laterally from a first portion of the liner layer on a first one of the semiconductor fins to a second portion of the line layer on a second one of the semiconductor fins; an isolation structure over the etch stop layer, wherein the etch stop layer and the isolation structure include different materials; a gate dielectric layer over a top surface of the isolation structure; and a dielectric feature extending through the gate dielectric layer and into the isolation structure, wherein the isolation structure and the dielectric feature collectively extend laterally from the first portion of the liner layer to the second portion of the line layer.

Abstract: A fastener structure includes a casing, an engaging element and a controlling element. The engaging element is movably disposed at the casing. The controlling element is movably disposed at the casing. The controlling element controls the engaging element to enter a locked state or unlocked state. Therefore, the casing is fitted to the first object, such that engaging element is fastened to or unfastened from the second object, so as to couple together quickly and separate easily at least two objects.

Abstract: A sliding positioning structure includes a seat, a first fastening body and a second fastening body. The first fastening body is movably assembled at the seat. The second fastening body is provided at the seat, and is for longitudinally fastening, latitudinally fastening or rotationally fastening to a first object. Accordingly, the seat can be quickly assembled with the first object by using the second fastening body, and be coupled with or removed from a second object by using the first fastening body, thereby accomplishing coupling or disengagement of two objects and achieving effects of repeated and quickly coupling and disengagement.

Abstract: A position adjustment mechanism for laser optics includes a fixed mount, a fastening member, and a position regulation device. The fixed mount is connected to a heat-dissipating mount and positioned near the optics mount. The fastening member penetrates the fixed mount and the optics mount to connect the fixed mount with the optics mount and maintains a gap between the fixed mount and the optics mount. The position regulation device is positioned in the vicinity of the fastening member and in the gap between the fixed mount and the optics mount. The position regulation device presses against the optics mount to adjust the position of the reflective element relative to the light-emitting device.

Abstract: A color wheel includes a motor having a rotary shaft, and a filter set sleeved on the rotary shaft. The filter set including a filter plate having a central axis and upper and lower surfaces, and a first and a second packing disposed concentrically and respectively on the upper and lower surfaces of the filter plate. The first packing has a first notch formed therein. The second packing has a second notch formed in an upper surface thereof. An adhering unit is provided in the first and second notches to fix respectively the first and second packing to the upper and lower surfaces of the filter plate.

Abstract: A color wheel comprises a motor, a plurality of filter segments and an obstructing plate. The motor has a rotating casing. Protruding from the center of an upper side of the rotating casing, there is a rotating shaft. One end of each fan-shaped filter segment is in contact with the rotating shaft, and one side of its lower surface has a formation of a glue area to be glued onto an upper side of the motor, forming a rear clearance from the upper side. The filter segments are joined to each other to become a ring shape surrounding the rotating shaft. A center hole of the ring-shaped obstructing plate is mounted on the rotating shaft, keeping a clearance from the filter segment. On the outside of the obstructing plate is a ring recess. The invention provides ways of heat insulation and radiation for the filter segments, to enhance product quality.
