Abstract: A positioning device includes a surrounding wall integrally formed with a shell of a lighting unit. The surrounding wall includes a mounting wall area with left and right lateral edge portions which are in water-tight and detachable engagement with each other, and which include left and right abutment wall surfaces with cutout portions defining an inner surrounding clamping wall surface that confines an insert hole for receiving an insert member which wraps around a power supply cord. The insert member has a neck segment that is spaced apart from the clamping wall surface by a surrounding clearance which can accommodate thermal expansion of the mounting wall area and which can form a moisture barrier against intrusion of water vapor.

Abstract: A coupling device for interconnecting first and second slender members includes a positioning sleeve sleeved on one end of the first slender member and having a radial outward stop flange and a radial stop projection at opposite ends thereof. An externally threaded sleeve is sleeved and secured on one end of the second slender member, and has an externally threaded front-end portion. A nut member is sleeved on the positioning sleeve, and has a surrounding wall for engaging the externally threaded sleeve. A limiting member is sleeved between the nut member and the stop projection of the positioning sleeve, thereby arresting movement of the nut member from a fully tightened position.

Abstract: A power plug includes a seat having a base and a post, first and second conductive plates projecting upwardly from the base, first and second power plug blades projecting through the base, and a switch mounted rotatably on the post and having an end wall disposed above the base, a peripheral wall surrounding the first and second conductive plates, and a bridging plate mounted on the peripheral wall. The switch is turnable about the post between a first position, in which the bridging plate bridges the first and second conductive plates, and a second position, in which the bridging plate disconnects the first and second conductive plates.

Abstract: An electrical socket includes a pair of coupled insulative housings, a conductor set mounted in one of the housings, a conductive contact member set including a pair of spaced apart contact members that are selectively mounted in one of the housings, and a conductive resilient member set including a pair of spaced apart spring members that are selectively mounted in the other one of the housings, and that respectively and resiliently bridge the contact members. At least one of the resilient member set and the contact member set is rotatable relative to the other one of the resilient member set and the contact member set.

Abstract: A stake assembly for an electrical receptacle includes a stake formed with a slot, and a coupling device mounted movably on the stake for sliding along the slot. The coupling device includes a pair of opposite engaging members respectively having first protrusions, each of which has a hooking end adapted to hook releasably with the receptacle. The engaging members are slidable along the slot between a first position, in which the hooking ends of the first protrusions engage the receptacle, and a second position, in which the first protrusions move toward each other from the first position and the hooking ends disengage from the receptacle. The coupling device further includes an urging member that urges the engaging members to move from the second position to the first position.
