Abstract: A plug connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of terminals and two latches. The insulating housing has a base and a tongue portion protruding forward from the front of the base. The terminals are received in the insulating housing. Two cavities are defined at two sides of the base and the tongue portion for receiving the respective latches. Each of the latches has a fixing portion. The fixing portion extends forward and inclines downward to form a first elastic arm. A free end of the first elastic arm extends forward and inclines upward to form a second elastic arm. The second elastic arm protrudes upward to form a hook at a free end thereof and a support portion lower than the hook at the rear of the hook. The hook and the support portion stretch out of the cavity to rise above the tongue portion.

The insulating housing defines a mouth and a plurality of cavities for receiving the corresponding terminals. The actuator is rotatably mounted to the mouth of the insulating housing and has a base. Two opposite sides of the base respectively define an incline slightly sloping inward from bottom to top. A top of the incline protrudes sideward to form an edge. The support member has a base section. A top of the base section bends sideward to form an arcuate section. A free end of the arcuate section extends downward to form an elastic section. While the actuator is at a closed position, the elastic section and the corresponding incline buckle with each other, the edge is held by the arcuate section.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulation housing having an insertion passage arranged at a top surface thereon, a receiving space arranged at a bottom surface thereon. An electrical contact covers the bottom surface and side surfaces of the insulation housing having a body portion covering the bottom surface, an elastic connection portion received in the receiving space, sidewalls covering the side surfaces and soldering portions. An engagement portion includes a projection member arranged at the side surface of the insulation housing and a fixing hole opened through the sidewall of the electrical contact for engaging with the projection member. While a contact of a matching device obliquely inserts into the insertion passage and presses the elastic connection portion, the electrical contact engages with the insulation housing securely via the engagement portion for preventing the electrical contact departing from the insulation housing by the pressing force from the contact of the matching device.

Abstract: A microphone connector includes an insulation housing and an electrical contact. The insulation housing has an insertion passage arranged at a top surface thereon, a receiving space arranged at a bottom surface thereon and communicated with the insertion passage and grooves passing through opposite sidewalls of the insulation housing. The electrical contact includes a body portion arranged up on the sidewalls, a soldering portion arranged at one end of the body portion, at least two opposite arms arranged at the other end of the body portion and received in the corresponding grooves respectively and elastic connection portions respectively arranged at the side arms and received in the receiving space. While a terminal of a microphone inserts into the insertion passage and electronically couples to the elastic connection portions to form multi-conductive areas, signal is transmitted between the microphone and the microphone connector stably through the multi-conductive areas.

One side of the receiving space defines a sliding groove and the other side defines a terminal cavity. Contacts which are divided into two groups are received in the insulating housing respectively. An ejecting apparatus is arranged in the sliding groove. An elastic terminal, located in the terminal cavity, has a base portion. An elastic arm connects with the base portion and continuously protrudes toward the inside bottom wall to form a contacting portion.

The bottom of the front cavity extends backward and forms an extension portion. Two sides of the back of the top plank bend downward and form two opposite side planks. The side plank stretches forward from its front and forms a locking slice. The conductor assembly includes a plurality of conductor pins, a housing and latches. The conductor pins and the latches are held in the housing. The housing includes a front housing and a back housing. Each side of the back housing opens a preventing recess. At the junction of the back housing and the front housing, a front wall of the back housing hollows inside and defines a recessed portion.

Abstract: A microphone connector module includes a microphone with a receiving face and a contacting face, a body defining a cavity to receive the microphone, a pair of terminals fixed in the body and connecting with the microphone and an external printed circuit board and a casing including a basic portion and a front portion. The basic portion of the casing defines a housing to receive the body. The front portion of the casing defines a voice channel approximately perpendicularly communicating with the housing of the basic portion. The receiving face of the microphone approximately perpendicularly faces to the voice channel and only receives the acoustic waves of single frequency at a time, which avoids the influence of a mixed transformation of the acoustic waves of different frequency to electric signals and enhances the receiving effect of the microphone.

The plastic covers include an upper plastic cover and a lower plastic cover, the two plastic covers buckling with each other and forming a space. The mating portion which is fixed in the space includes a shell. A hook aperture is located on the front of the shell. The latch, which is fixed into the space, has two barricades. Each barricade stretches forward and forms an arm. Each arm has a hook at its head. The hooks pass through the hook apertures and project outwardly, wherein each barricade of the latch protrudes upward and forms a locating bulge. Correspondingly two locating cavities are defined inside the top surface of the upper plastic cover. The locating bulges are inset into the locating cavities.

Abstract: A low profile microphone connector includes a dielectric housing and electrical terminals located in the housing. The housing has a generally cylindrical wall, a generally cylindrical microphone insertion cavity defined by the cylindrical wall, a supporting base formed at a lower portion of the cylindrical wall, and a plurality of ribs formed at an upper portion of the cylindrical wall. A PCB has a generally circular hole and a plurality of positioning slots defined along the periphery of the circular hole. In assembly, the cylindrical wall sinks into the circular hole of the PCB, the supporting base abuts against a bottom face of the PCB, and the ribs engage with the positioning slots to position the connector on the PCB. So the connector has a low profile over the PCB and reliably retained on the PCB.
