  • Publication number: 20240026678
Abstract: A shock absorbing equipment having shear-wall-like mechanism with enhanced damping force for a building includes a longitudinal transmission rod, an upper dampers, and a lower dampers. The two upper dampers are mounted on the upper half wall. Two ends of each of the upper dampers is connected to the upper end of the longitudinal transmission rod and the upper half wall. The two lower dampers are mounted on the lower half wall. Two ends of each of the lower dampers is connected to the lower end of the longitudinal transmission rod and the lower half wall. The shock absorbing equipment sensitively amplifies a displacement between the floors caused by earthquake, so as to early dissipate seismic energy. Moreover, the needed number of the shock absorbing equipment for the building can also be reduced and impact on traffic flow and ambient lighting in the building can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 11359375
Abstract: An enhanced non-coplanar double winding reinforcement method has a main reinforcing bars erecting step, a reinforcement stirrup winding step, and a crossties double hooking and confining step. The main reinforcing bars and the reinforcement stirrup can be stably confined by the crossties. No iron wire is needed for bundling. Toughness and aseismatic capability of a structure built by the enhanced non-coplanar double winding reinforcement method is improved. Accordingly, construction steps are simplified and construction efficiency are increased. A first plane defined by a main rod portion and a first hook portion of the crosstie and a second plane defined by the main rod portion and a second hook portion of the crosstie intersect, the second hook portion can pass between two of the main reinforcing bars that are disposed next to each other even when the main reinforcing bars are densely arranged.

  • Patent number: 10584492
Abstract: A double winding reinforcement method has a main bars erecting step, a reinforcement stirrup winding step, and a reinforcement bar double ends winding step. In the main bars erecting step, multiple main bars are vertically disposed and are arranged in a rectangular shape. In the reinforcement stirrup winding step, a reinforcement stirrup is horizontally wound around the multiple main bars and is wound in a rectangular shape, and the main bars are defined as multiple pairs of opposite main bars. In the reinforcement bar double ends winding step, each reinforcement bar has a first end and a second end. The first end of each reinforcement bar is fixed with one of the main bars of a respective one of the pairs of opposite main bars. The second end is wound around the reinforcement stirrup and the other main bar of the pair of opposite main bars.

  • Patent number: 8641282
Abstract: A seismic isolation bearing has a lower plate and an upper plate separated by a slider. The lower plate has an upward facing concave surface. The upper plate has a downward facing concave surface. The slider includes a first member and a second member separated by a shock absorbing pad. The first member has an upper convex surface that slides along the concave surface of the upper plate. The second member has a lower convex surface that slides along the concave surface of the lower plate. In the event of an earthquake, the lower plate and the upper plate are intended to move relative to each other via the slider to dissipate the horizontal seismic energy. In addition, the shock absorbing pad can deform to absorb the vertical seismic energy. Thus, the seismic isolation bearing can increase its ability to isolate seismic energy.
