Abstract: An image capture system comprises an image sensor module, a pre-processing unit, and an image processing unit, where the pre-processing unit comprises a de-noise module. The image sensor module is configured for capturing images corresponding to at least one scene and outputting raw image data accordingly. The pre-processing unit is coupled to the image sensor module, where the de-noise module is configured for executing de-noise operation on the raw image data in raw image domain to generate de-noised raw image data. The image processing unit is coupled to the pre-processing unit and configured for converting the de-noised raw image data into RGB image data in RGB domain.

Abstract: An electronic device and an image processing method are provided. The present invention can pre-capture images or pre-record video into a special buffer during the launching time of an image application upon the image application being launched. Accordingly, whether a user interface corresponding to the image application is ready or not, once a user triggers a camera event via a touch screen and/or other input modules for capturing images or recording video, the pre-captured image frames can be provided instantly to the user without long waiting.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for audio intelligibility enhancement and computing apparatus are provided. The method includes the following steps. Environment noise is detected by performing voice activity detection according to a detected audio signal from at least a microphone of a computing device. Noise information is obtained according to the detected environment noise and a first audio signal. A second audio signal is outputted by boosting the first audio signal under an adjustable headroom by the computing device according to the noise information and the first audio signal.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a recording medium for estimating and displaying a destination are provided. In the method, a plurality of places frequently visited by a user is set first. Then, a current location of the electronic apparatus is continuously detected by using a positioning module, and a distance between the current location and each of the places is calculated. Whether the distance between the current location and each of the places increases is determined. When the distance increases, the corresponding place is removed and the remaining places are displayed.

Abstract: A display apparatus switchable between a first mode and a second mode is provided. The display apparatus includes a transparent light emitting layer, a light modification layer and a first polarization layer. The transparent light emitting layer is configured to display image in the first mode and be disabled in the second mode. The light modification layer is disposed under the transparent light emitting layer. The first polarization layer between the transparent light emitting layer and the light modification layer is configured to polarize an incident light which transmits through the transparent light emitting layer. When the display apparatus is operated in the first mode, the light modification layer is configured to absorb the incident light, and when the display apparatus is operated in the second mode, the light modification layer is configured to reflect the incident light. Abstract: A method of handling a registration procedure for accessing a circuit-switched (CS) service for a communication device of a wireless communication system is disclosed. The communication device operates in a network mode of operation I (NMO I), and the method comprises maintaining a packet-switched (PS) back-off timer triggered by a network of the wireless communication system, when the network is in congestion in a PS domain; and initiating the registration for the CS service with the network, before the PS back-off timer expires.

Abstract: A method of handling triggered trap management object of a client in a service system supporting open mobile alliance (OMA) device management is disclosed. The method comprises creating a node in a trap management object for storing a predefined value of time interval; and transmitting a notification associated to a triggered trap to a server of the service system or invoking a management object of the client associated to the triggered trap, only when a time interval between a triggered trap and a preceding triggered trap is greater or equal to the predefined value of stored in the node.
