  • Publication number: 20070162354
Abstract: A real-time electronic business transaction system and method is proposed, which is capable of reporting STFC (Ship To First Commitment) and FCT (Factory Cycle Time) data in real time to a customer in response to an electronic purchase order from the customer. The proposed electronic business transaction system comprises an EDI (Electronic Data Exchange) platform, a SAP (Service Advertising Platform) platform, an SQL(Structured Query Language) server, and a WWW (World Wide Web) server. The EDI platform is linked to a customer-site workstation and is used to receive any electronic purchase order from the customer. The SAP platform is used to perform a predefined FCT computation procedure to compute for a set of FCT data based on the received electronic purchase order; while the SQL server is used to perform a predefined STFC computation procedure to compute for a set of STFC data based on the received electronic purchase order.

  • Patent number: 6901416
Abstract: A method and system for estimating exportation time are proposed, for connecting a manufacturer through a network to a system for estimating exportation time, wherein the system estimates product exportation time for client orders received by the manufacturer according to practical operating conditions in product manufacture. In the use of the foregoing method and system, a first database stores uploaded and manufacture operating data from the manufacturer, so as to prompt the system to perform data operation and processing according to the stored data. Operation data results are stored in a second database, and used as reference to provide manufacture schedule data, order reply data, abnormal condition data and material insufficiency data to be downloaded by the manufacturer, so as to allow the manufacturer to execute product manufacture according to the downloaded data, and immediately realize problems in product manufacture to solve.

  • Publication number: 20030088450
Abstract: A material requirements planning method of calculating supplier material supply aims at resolving the problems of lot-size material issuing methods on production schedule systems in the manufacturing industry. A material requirements planning server of an enterprise end server simulates material issuing operations during a stock-out period, and executes timely delivery of particular parts or components, utilizing as-needed delivery rather than lot-size delivery.

  • Patent number: 5965174
Abstract: A blow molding apparatus for a chip carrier maker is adapted to form a longitudinal row of spaced-apart recesses in a flat thermoplastic strip and includes a stationary machine frame, a heating device mounted on the frame for heating the strip, a lower mold disposed on the frame and having a mold cavity unit therein, and an upper mold which is disposed on the frame. One of the upper and lower molds can be moved toward the other one so as to clamp the strip between the upper and lower molds, thereby establishing an air-tight seal between the strip and the upper mold. The upper mold has a bottom surface formed with an air chamber, and an air passage unit which is formed therethrough and which is in fluid communication with the air chamber so that compressed air can be introduced into the air chamber via the air passage unit, thereby pressing the strip into the mold cavity unit after the strip is heated and softened by the heating device and subsequently forming the recesses in the strip.

  • Patent number: 5881968
Abstract: An adjustable tape-positioning apparatus is adapted to position a tape on a chip carrier maker. The tape is moved along a straight path on the chip carrier maker and has a straight first side and a straight second side which are opposite and parallel to each other. The apparatus includes a stationary frame, and a movable abutment member mounted movably on the frame and having a vertical surface formed with a straight positioning slot which is adapted to receive slidably the first side of the tape therein and which is defined by a straight, vertical bottom wall. The bottom wall is adapted to be disposed parallel to the second side of the tape and is adapted to abut against the first side of the tape. A guide unit is disposed on the frame for guiding the abutment member to move on the frame in an adjusting direction that is transverse to the tape. An adjustment bolt is journalled operatively on the frame so as to rotate on the frame, thereby moving the abutment member on the frame in the adjusting direction.
