Abstract: The present disclosure provides a coal bump control method for sectional hydraulic fracturing regions of a near vertical ultra thick coal seam. The method includes: deepening a main shaft from a mining level to a fracturing level; excavating a cross-hole from a roof rock layer of a coal seam at the fracturing level to enter a coal seam being mined, and excavating a roadway along the strike of the coal seam; and drilling hydraulic fracturing boreholes in a dedicated fracturing roadway along an inclination angle of the coal seam to the coal seam above the roadway, wherein the length of the borehole makes the borehole in communication with a goaf, and the spacing of the boreholes along the strike and the sectional spacing of the boreholes in an inclination direction are designed according to the parameters of fracturing equipments and the fracturing length.

Abstract: A communication method, apparatus, and system are disclosed. The system includes: a reconfigurable intelligent surface, a receiver, and a transmitter configured to send an optical signal to a reconfigurable intelligent surface, wherein the reconfigurable intelligent surface is configured to: detect the optical signal to obtain first target information, modulate the first target information to generate an electrical signal, and send the electrical signal to a receiver, where the first target information is the detected optical signal; and generate the electrical signal based on the optical signal, and send the electrical signal to the receiver; and the receiver is configured to detect the electrical signal to obtain second target information, and demodulate the second target information to obtain data information and/or control information carried in the optical signal, where the second target information is the detected electrical signal.

The apparatus is operable to stain multiple sets of slides simultaneously and configured with a reagent system having a plurality of reagents. The Apparatus includes a slide counter, a controller having a non-transitory memory component with instructions thereon, and a processor configured to determine a count of a set of received slides since the regent system was installed. When the count is below a threshold, the first protocol is used. When the count is above the threshold, slides in-progress are stained, and newly received slides are stained with a second protocol, the first protocol having an eosin reagent step followed by a 95% ethanol reagent step of a first duration, the second protocol having an eosin reagent step followed by a 95% ethanol reagent step of a second duration less than the first duration.

Abstract: Provided is a gas water heater. The gas water heater includes a pre-mixer, a combustor having a combustion chamber in communication with a premixing chamber, a condensate water assembly configured to receive and discharge condensate water, and an apparatus for controlling the gas water heater. The pre-mixer includes a premixing chamber and an air intake fan that is configured to supply air to the combustion chamber. The air intake fan is disposed in the premixing chamber. The method includes: acquiring an intake air pressure threshold; acquiring an air intake pressure value of the air intake fan; and controlling, in response to determining based on the air intake pressure value and the intake air pressure threshold that a water seal of the condensate water assembly is at risk of being blown away, the gas water heater to stop operation.

Abstract: A key-value store and a file system are integrated together to provide improved operations. The key-value store can include a log engine, a hash engine, a sorting engine, and a garbage collection manager. The features of the key-value store can be configured to reduce the number of I/O operations involving the file system, thereby improving read efficiency, reducing write latency, and reducing write amplification issues inherent in the combined key-value store and file system.
