    Abstract: Method of adding user comments on webpages is performed by a computing device. After displaying a webpage including a visual object, the computing device receives a user selection of a portion of the visual object and generates a transparent layer including a comment entry region within the webpage. The comment entry region includes an enlarged visual content of the portion of the visual object as a background. The device then concurrently displays the enlarged visual content of the portion of the visual content in the comment entry region and the remaining portion of the visual object of the webpage that is not selected by the user. After receiving a user comment in a graphical form through the comment entry region, the device sends the user comment and a corresponding user identifier to a server. The server generates a revised webpage by combining the visual object and the user comment.

In certain embodiments, the method includes sending a request by a first terminal device to a server to acquire a transmission channel, when a triggering event is detected at the first terminal device; receiving interface information of the transmission channel from the server; repeatedly acquiring data transmitted from the server according to the interface information of the transmission channel; and updating output according to the acquired data. The cross-terminal input system includes first and second terminal devices. The first terminal device sends a request to a server to acquire a transmission channel, and receives interface information of the transmission channel. The second terminal device acquires the interface information, and uploads user input data to the transmission channel accordingly. Then, the first terminal device receives the user input data, and updates output with the received data.
