  • Publication number: 20220168695
Abstract: The invention is directed to a Venturi tube comprising: a cylindrical tube, wherein a first cone and a second cone are arranged. The first cone and the second cone are configured so that their bases face each other and are separated by a gap. A suction tube has an inlet and an outlet. The inlet is located outside of the cylindrical tube and the outlet is located between the first base and second base, i.e., the gap between the first base and the second base. The Venturi tube of this structure serving as a gas-liquid mixer will have higher gas solubility. The Venturi tube of this structure has a shorter length than traditional ones while processing the same amount of liquid and thus requires lower manufacturing cost.

  • Patent number: 10792622
Abstract: A gas dissolving system using double mixers to generate a higher gas concentration in liquid is disclosed. The gas dissolving system includes two gas mixers, a degassing device, pressure valves, a pressure sensor, and a pump. Liquid flows through mixers to entrain gas therein, and it thus contains dissolved gas and undissolved gas. The liquid subsequently flows into the degassing device so that undissolved gas is released to the outside environment, and dissolved gas remains in the liquid. The liquid with dissolved gas combines with raw liquid and is diluted so that it becomes liquid with a desired gas concentration as the output. A high gas concentration of liquid is obtained after more cycles of fluid flow through the mixers to dissolve gas without combining raw liquid.

  • Patent number: 7780856
Abstract: A device for on-line radiating gas-containing liquid with light that can mix ozone and water, and radiate the same on-line as well as remove accretions on protective sheaths (preferably quartz tubes) of the device to reduce energy loss. Ozone and water is mixed in a gas-liquid mixer of the device and the ozone-water mixture is guided by a conduct of a gas-liquid separator of the device and spayed out to be radiated by multiple UV lamps protected by the protective sheaths. The accretions on the protective sheaths are removed by scraper mechanisms of a washing assembly of the device.

  • Patent number: 7501055
Abstract: The invention relates to an ozone on-line injection, reuse and destruction system, which draws liquid to be mixed with ozone through a pump. The system mainly comprises a gas-liquid separation device and an ozone destruction device. When mixed with the drawn liquid, some of the ozone may dissolve in the liquid and the undissolved portion is recovered and reused, while the ozone, oxygen and nitrogen that cannot be reused are introduced into an ozone destruction device. The ozone destruction device contains an ozone destruction medium so that it can decompose ozone into oxygen that can escape into the environment along with the undissolved oxygen and nitrogen, thereby avoiding environmental pollution caused by the direct release of ozone.

  • Patent number: 7243673
Abstract: The subject invention is related to a gas injection device with back-flow leaking liquid discharge, comprising a chamber, a gas inlet conduit, a gas outlet conduit, and a liquid discharging conduit, wherein the gas outlet conduit and the liquid discharging conduit are provided with a check valve, respectively. When a gas is passed to the chamber through the gas inlet conduit, the check valve of the gas outlet conduit is open for the gas to be passed into a liquid and the check valve of the liquid discharging conduit is closed. While the gas has stopped injecting into the liquid, the check valve of the gas outlet is closed to prevent the liquid from back flow. The small amount of back-flow leaking liquid accumulated in the chamber can open the check valve of the liquid discharging conduit to discharge the leaking liquid from the chamber.

  • Patent number: 6955341
Abstract: An apparatus for effectively dissolving gas into liquid medium to obtain high concentration of gas solution includes a mixer and a tank enclosure, wherein the mixer primarily includes a quasi-Venturi tube and an expansion chamber. During operation, gas is introduced into the liquid in the quasi-Venturi-typed mixer. A valve mounted at the inlet of the mixer is used to regulate the gas flow so that the flow rate of the gas entering the mixer is lower than the rate of the gas drawn into the quasi-Venturi tube. With the gas drawn-in capability of the quasi-Venturi tube, gas can be mixed with the liquid flow through the quasi-Venturi tube under negative pressure and forms small gas bubbles in the liquid. The liquid carrying small gas bubbles flows out of the mixer, and subsequently flows into the tank enclosure and forms a whirlpool therein. As such, the gas bubbles can remain in the liquid for a prolonged time, which helps the gas dissolve in the liquid.

  • Patent number: 6534023
Abstract: A fluid dynamic ozone generator includes a coaxial gas-fluid mixing tube, an air-cooled ozone formation tube, and a liquid-pressurized gas-liquid mixer. The air-cooled ozone formation tube has an electric discharge region for inducing and sustaining micro-discharges. An oxygen-containing gas flowing through the region is capable of forming ozone. The air-cooled ozone formation tube is installed within the coaxial gas-fluid mixing tube. The liquid-pressurized gas-liquid mixer has an airtight container with an inlet pipe for gas-contained water. Undissolved gas leaves the water and, with the addition of water pressure, builds a positive pressure in the container. The positive pressure helps to dissolve the gas in the water.

  • Publication number: 20020061403
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for metal coating on a tube, particularly a tube for ozone generators which have been widely used for commercial and industrial purposes. Quartz or high aluminum-oxide-containing is a preferred material for the tube for an ozone generator. According to the present method, the tube is coated with a film of gold by putting the tube in a stove wherein the temperature and baking time is controlled. The present method for coating improves the durability of tubes operated at high temperature brought forth by micro-discharge, and thus extends the service life of the tube as used in an ozone generator.
