Abstract: There is provided a process for preparing a reduced sodium salt composition, the process comprising the steps of mixing sodium chloride with one or more sodium chloride substitute complexes, heating the so-formed mixture to form a melt, and cooling the melt to form a solid. The so-formed solid is a fused granular matrix of sodium chloride and one or more sodium chloride substitute complexes. An alternative process is provided in which the sodium chloride and the sodium chloride substitute complex are heated to the liquid phase before they are combined. A reduced sodium salt composition is also provided, in particular a reduced sodium chloride salt obtained from these processes.

If different sources have different recording cycles, or time epochs, that lead to different temporal granularities, then all of the log streams are combined into a single time epoch that is equal to the longest time epoch. Log streams from sources having shorter time epochs continue to retain information about their original time epochs, in order to retain information about the order of the events in those log streams. The log streams are re-ordered, both before and after being integrated into the aggregate log, by acquiring additional data from the different sources, thus permitting the likely cause/effect relationship between events.

Abstract: A finisher for an image forming apparatus includes a pair of rotatable downstream rollers and a pair of rotatable upstream roller between which a path on which an imaged medium travels. The finisher determines when a trailing edge of the medium is about to leave a nip of the upstream rollers and then stops a leading edge of the medium. By stopping the leading edge of the medium, the medium buckles and the trailing edge registers against the upstream nip line. A finishing device performs a hole punch, staple, or other finishing operation to the medium when the trailing edge registers against the upstream nip line. The finishing operation is performed at a speed equal to or greater than a speed at which the image forming apparatus forms the image on the medium and outputs the medium to the finisher.

Abstract: Signals to a management module are generated on an occurrence of an event affecting one of a plurality of server blades housed in a common chassis with the management module and aggregated in the management module. Signaling in accordance with this invention may be originated at a number of levels of operation of information handling systems, and distinction can be drawn between an occurrence requiring prompt attention from an operator—an alert—and occurrences where such prompt action is unnecessary. Occurrences signaled are logged for possible later review, and such a log will, in the contemplation of this invention, contain events related to a number of server blades.
