Abstract: A wearable biometric sensing ring apparatus for continuous heart rate and blood pressure monitoring having a ring housing for retention on a finger of a user, a photoplethysmograph (PPG) sensor disposed within the housing on an interior surface of the ring to contact or be placed adjacent the finger to register a pulse rate of the user, a first electrode and second electrode disposed within the housing on said interior surface of the ring to contact the finger on a first side of the user's body, and a third electrode disposed on an exterior surface of the ring housing to contact a contralateral portion of the user's body. A combination of first, second and third electrodes are configured for obtaining electrocardiogram (ECG) measurements.

Abstract: A wearable biometric sensing ring apparatus for continuous heart rate and blood pressure monitoring having a ring housing for retention on a finger of a user, an electrodermal activity (EDA) sensor disposed within the housing so as to contact a location of the skin of the finger when the housing is retained on the finger, the EDA sensor configured for measuring changes in skin impedance indicative of SNS activation; a biometric sensor disposed within the housing in proximity to the EDA sensor so as to contact at or near the location of the skin of the finger. Application software is provided for assessing the physiological state of the user based on acquired EDA sensor data and biometric sensor data.

Abstract: A biometric sensing apparatus for estimating the emotional state of a user. A self-contained biometric sensing ring is worn on the finger (or fingers) of the user during their normal activities. Biometric information is collected and sent wirelessly to the user's mobile device configured with application programming for analyzing and displaying the biometric information. The biometric ring is configured with sensors that the structure of the ring retains at a proper pressure against the finger of the user. The sensors comprise at least electrodermal response (EDR), photoplethysmograph (PPG), temperature, and acceleration. The ring has a self-contained power source, and is configured for adjustably fitting a wide range of users.

Abstract: A wireless apparatus and method for the measurement and monitoring of bioelectric signal patterns associated with EEG, EOG and EMG readings is provided. The apparatus is comprised of at least one measurement device employing the use of three bioelectric sensing electrodes, wherein at least one of the electrodes is configured for secure placement within the ear canal of an individual under medical surveillance. Acoustic stimulation may be provided directly into the ear canal of the individual via an auditory stimulus emitted from the measurement device for evoking brain activity and the subsequent measurement of bioelectric signal patterns associated with the evoked activity.
