  • Patent number: 7731601
Abstract: A pitch-mark repair tool to be carried by a golf club (e.g., a putter) to enable a golfer to quickly and easily repair an impact area at a putting green of a golf course caused by the impact of a golf ball striking the green during play. The pitch-mark repair tool includes a base to be affixed to the grip which surrounds one end of the golf club shaft. A plurality of upstanding earth leveling prongs project from the base for use in lifting up the earth to a level, smooth surface over the impact area to be repaired. A fastener having a set of helically wound screw threads extends through the base and the grip for receipt in the existing vent hole of the grip for holding the base against the grip. An end cap is detachably connected in surrounding engagement with the base to enclose the upstanding prongs therewithin and thereby prevent injury to the golfer.

  • Patent number: 4117616
Abstract: Adhesive backed information and border sign symbols are formed from finished metal sheet or coil which has initially applied to a back surface thereof adhesive covered by release paper. Reflectors are mounted in openings of the sign symbols retained therein through symbol opening edge portions preferably partially overlying and preferably partially edge pressure engaging the reflectors, the information symbols such as letters, numbers and arrows having a multiplicity of spaced reflectors, and the border symbols being elongated and also having said spaced reflectors. The sign is assembled by removing the release paper from the symbols and adhesively adhering the symbols to a finished front face of a sign panel, the information symbols being positioned inwardly of a sign panel border portion and the border symbols being positioned at the sign panel border portion circumscribing the information symbols.

  • Patent number: 4000882
Abstract: The marker panel is preferably formed internally of force crushable material and has side and rearward surfaces thereof conforming to surfaces of the U-shaped recess of a conventional metal guardrail so that the marker panel may be preferably adhesively secured fully within the guardrail recess. An exposed generally vertical front surface of the marker panel is preferably covered with a plastic film, sometimes reflectorized, and a reflector or reflectors may, in certain instances, be mounted angularly in this front surface or on angular ends of the marker panel so as to be exposed outwardly of the guardrail recess.
