  • Patent number: 11982062
Abstract: A sweeping blade assembly for attachment to a vehicle for sweeping a ground surface. The sweeping blade assembly comprises: a blade support for receiving a plurality of blades, a first row of blades and a second row of blades. Each row of blade comprising a plurality of blades which are separated from each other by a gap. The first row of blades and the second row of blades are provided beside (and parallel to) each other and positioned so that a given gap in a given row corresponds to a blade in the other row. In an embodiment, the gap is dimensioned to be smaller in width than the blades whereby a given blade in one row can have a partial overlap of two different blades in the other row. Whereby, the blades can freely move vertically and/or angularly when hitting uneven surfaces, and can be rectangular in shape, and thus reversible when the carbide on one of the edges is worn out.

  • Patent number: 11970829
Abstract: A sweeping blade assembly includes a sweeping blade device and is configured to be attached to a plow blade of a vehicle for sweeping a ground surface. The assembly comprises a blade support which is securable to the plow blade and a plurality of sweeping blade devices which can be mounted to the blade support. Each sweeping blade device includes a blade main section and a wear block which can be attached to a front section of the blade main section in a lower portion thereof. The wear block(s) can optionally have at least one cut-out section(s) extending upwardly from a scraping edge of the wear block and can define at least two spaced-apart teeth in the lower portion of the wear block.

  • Publication number: 20230257948
Abstract: There is provided a sweeping blade assembly configured to be attached to a plow blade of a vehicle for sweeping debris on a ground surface. The sweeping blade assembly comprises: a blade support securable to the vehicle, a sweeping blade device, and a blade tilting control assembly. The sweeping blade device comprises: a blade main portion mounted to the blade support and tiltable about a pivoting axis. The blade tilting control assembly comprises a protruding abutment protruding from one of the blade supports and the blade main portion and an abutment receiving aperture defined in the other one of the blade support and the blade main portion. The abutment receiving aperture is delimited by an inner peripheral wall. The protruding abutment is engageable in the abutment receiving aperture and displaceable with respect to one another upon tilting of blade main portion about the pivoting axis with the inner peripheral wall of the abutment receiving aperture limiting the tilting of blade main portion.
