  • Publication number: 20240157823
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a motor drive integrated on-board charger to reduce the quantity of components in an electric system of an electric vehicle. Reduction of components is achieved by utilizing the motor and the motor driving inverter as a part of the on-board charger in the charging mode. By controlling relays, electrical connections of the system may be reconfigured according to its mode of operation. In one aspect, the motor and the motor driving inverter play the roles of a boost PFC, a current regulator, or both.

  • Patent number: 11207999
Abstract: A charger includes a first connection port, a second connection port, a DC-DC converter, a first microcontroller, and a second microcontroller. The DC-DC converter is configured to convert a first DC voltage into a second DC current/voltage according to a regulation signal, and output the second DC current/voltage through the second connection port. The second DC voltage is lower than the first DC voltage. The first microcontroller is configured to communicate with a DC charging station by handshake via the first connection port. When the handshake between the first microcontroller and the DC charging station succeeds, the first microcontroller generates a regulation indication according to a result of the handshake between the first microcontroller and a battery, the second microcontroller generates the regulation signal according to the regulation indication, and the first DC voltage is supplied by the DC charging station.

  • Patent number: 9158323
Abstract: A power control circuit for a power supply system including a control unit, a driving circuit and a power supply unit is disclosed. The power control circuit includes a current detection unit, a voltage detection unit and a power detection unit. The current detection unit is used for detecting a current signal. The voltage detection unit is used for detecting a voltage signal. The power detection unit is connected with the current detection unit, the voltage detection unit and the control unit for acquiring a power signal according to the current signal and voltage signal. By comparing an adjustable power reference signal with the power signal, the control unit issues a control signal to the driving circuit. In response to the control signal, the power supply unit is driven by the driving circuit to output an adjusted power to the load according to the adjustable power reference signal.
