An effective scheduling delay is calculated by the wireless device as a sum of a scheduling delay and a delay offset. The delay offset is a time duration dedicated for the wireless device. The effective scheduling delay is used by the wireless device for a subsequent wireless data transmission between the network node and the wireless device.
