    Abstract: Disclosed are a charge eliminator and an image forming apparatus having the same. The charge eliminator includes a light source array and a light guide member. The light source array includes a plurality of point light sources. The light guide member includes an incidence face through which light generated from the point light sources is introduced. The light guide member guides the light introduced through the incidence face to the photoconductor. A diffusion pattern is provided at the incidence face of the light guide member to diffuse the light introduced through the incidence face.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive body, and a plurality of developing devices to develop a color image on the photosensitive body. The plurality of developing devices include fixed-position developing devices, of which positions relative to the photosensitive body are fixed, and moveable developing devices, of which positions relative to the photosensitive body are changed. Accordingly, the image forming apparatus can be manufactured compactly, by mounting four developing devices, e.g., for yellow, magenta, cyan and black for the color printing such that three developing devices stand by at the respective development positions and one developing device variably moves to the development position so that the photosensitive body is reduced in diameter when compared to a conventional photosensitive body which opposes four developing devices.

    Abstract: A knock-up plate lifting device for lowering a knock-up plate while inserting and withdrawing a paper feeding cassette, and lifting the knock-up plate when the paper feeding cassette is completely mounted. The knock-up plate lifting device includes a mounting board. A first link is pivotably mounted by a first hinge to the mounting board and has arms extended away from the first hinge. A resilient member is connected to one of the arms of the first link. A second link is pivotably mounted by a second hinge to the mounting board and extends away from the second hinge by a predetermined angle.     Abstract: A wet-type image forming apparatus includes an intermediate transfer medium for receiving images which are formed in a plurality of photosensitive media and overlapped thereon to form an image and transferring the image to a print medium. The intermediate transfer medium runs along a predetermined path. A drying unit heats the intermediate transfer medium to evaporate part of carrier included in the image on the intermediate transfer medium before the image is transferred onto the print medium. A cooling unit cools the heated intermediate transfer medium after the image is transferred onto the print medium by making the intermediate transfer medium directly contact a coolant.
