Abstract: A real-time electronic business transaction system and method is proposed, which is capable of reporting STFC (Ship To First Commitment) and FCT (Factory Cycle Time) data in real time to a customer in response to an electronic purchase order from the customer. The proposed electronic business transaction system comprises an EDI (Electronic Data Exchange) platform, a SAP (Service Advertising Platform) platform, an SQL(Structured Query Language) server, and a WWW (World Wide Web) server. The EDI platform is linked to a customer-site workstation and is used to receive any electronic purchase order from the customer. The SAP platform is used to perform a predefined FCT computation procedure to compute for a set of FCT data based on the received electronic purchase order; while the SQL server is used to perform a predefined STFC computation procedure to compute for a set of STFC data based on the received electronic purchase order.

Abstract: A method and a system for processing a return product are proposed, in which the system for processing a return product allows a manufacturer to inquire return product data through a browser of a terminal device and a network communication system. If a return product is tested to function properly by the system, the return product can be packed for exportation if necessary. If a return product does not function properly and is disassembled for obtaining useful assemblies, semi-fabricated products are re-assembled with the useful assemblies to be ready for exportation. If a return product not properly functioning is not disassembled, the return product can be replaced for its unuseful assemblies by useful assemblies, so as to be ready for exportation. This therefore effectively utilizes useful assemblies of return products, and shortens the production time, as well as avoids repetition in work.

Abstract: A method and system for estimating exportation time are proposed, for connecting a manufacturer through a network to a system for estimating exportation time, wherein the system estimates product exportation time for client orders received by the manufacturer according to practical operating conditions in product manufacture. In the use of the foregoing method and system, a first database stores uploaded and manufacture operating data from the manufacturer, so as to prompt the system to perform data operation and processing according to the stored data. Operation data results are stored in a second database, and used as reference to provide manufacture schedule data, order reply data, abnormal condition data and material insufficiency data to be downloaded by the manufacturer, so as to allow the manufacturer to execute product manufacture according to the downloaded data, and immediately realize problems in product manufacture to solve.

Abstract: A purchasing information system applicable to an enterprise group in which the purchasing information is suitably integrated and used to optimize further purchasing. The system and method of the invention utilizes a database integrating price information of materials and informing purchasing personnel or publishing on a local network of the enterprise to help efficient purchases. When a purchase is prepared in the enterprise, the information is transferred to a database in a specific format. The database integrates the purchasing information into a report, in which any information concerning the same material is reviewed. Then, the integrated information is published through a network and emailed to related people of the enterprise.

Abstract: An integration method for different information platforms in a decision-making system is proposed to solve the problem of being unable to integrate information among different platforms in the existing decision-making systems of the manufacturing industry. All information is integrated in a database and then distributed to users through a network and E-mail. The invention includes at least the following steps: the enterprise downloads at least one set of data from an information platform to a shared folder; a database server integrates the data in the shared folder; the computed data are moved to an integration platform; the enterprise selects a particular method to distribute the integrated data; and the user receives the data.

Abstract: A method that automatically calculates supplier/vendor scores and payable due dates by material delivery inspection is a system that combines material delivery and quality inspection. It utilizes a pre-determined formula through the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) server to calculate supplier/vendor scores and automatically announces the inspection score of supplier/vendor material delivery to further generate payable due dates uploaded to the enterprise end as the basis of the accommodation check period. It can synchronize respective facilities, reduce obstacles to communications, decrease a glut in the inventory of facilities, diminish the risk of purchasing materials from the enterprise end and increase the enterprise profits.

Abstract: A method and a system for material inventory control are proposed. A manufacturer can realize current inventory status of a particular material by retrieving a corresponding material inventory report generated for the material through the use of a web browser and a network system such as internet or intranet, so as to implement timely procurement of insufficient materials, and maintain efficient and safe material stock for use in product manufacture. This is further advantageous of preventing over-stocking of materials from occurrence, since material procurement is proceeded at the time of need.

Abstract: An authorization method and system for storing and retrieving data are proposed, in which the authorization method is applied to the authorization system, which connects a terminal device to a resource system established by an application service provider (ASP) via a network, so as to allow the ASP to authorize a user at the terminal device to interact therewith for data storage and retrieval. In the use of the authorization method and system, a client terminal with no authorization is inhibited for storing and retrieving application software provided by an application service provider (ASP), and costs for an enterprise in purchasing authorization from the ASP can be significantly reduced.

Abstract: A management system for parsing and receiving XML based schedules being established between a computer system of a product manufacturer and that of at least one original equipment manufacturer through the Internet so that the product manufacturer is capable of regularly receiving the XML based schedules from each original equipment manufacturer through the Internet for determining a correctness of the XML based schedules, parsing data therefrom, converting the data into EDI based schedules, and integrating the EDI based schedules with EDI based schedules stored in a database of the system.

Abstract: An automatic e-mail notification method on an Executive Information System (EIS) is disclosed. The disclosed method aims at resolving the problems of passive information transmission on the Executive Information System (EIS). Through this system, deviations during transmission of information can be managed, so that at least one user can be informed of the deviations of the report and automatically receive important messages from e-mail. Users thereby actively obtain strategic information for decision making.

Abstract: A method and a system for integrating material quality data are proposed, in which manufactories of a manufacturer at different locations can be connected through a network communication system to the integrating system, wherein the system has a supplier database for storing basic data of the material suppliers and an examination database for storing quality examined data established by the manufactories, and each of the material suppliers has a supplier code corresponding to the basic data thereof. In the use of the foregoing method and system, a common inputting interface used for material quality examination can be provided for IQC departments of the manufactories of the manufacturer, and quality examined data of the manufactories can be integrated, so as to allow the manufactories to immediately monitor qualities of incoming materials from material suppliers, thereby making manufactured products greatly improved in quality for the manufacturer.

Abstract: A material requirements planning method of calculating supplier material supply aims at resolving the problems of lot-size material issuing methods on production schedule systems in the manufacturing industry. A material requirements planning server of an enterprise end server simulates material issuing operations during a stock-out period, and executes timely delivery of particular parts or components, utilizing as-needed delivery rather than lot-size delivery.

Abstract: A method and a system for reading authorized data are proposed. With a network connection established among a system for reading authorized data, a terminal device and an application service provider, the system for reading authorized data allows a user at the terminal device to obtain data generated by operating an application program system of the application service provider, wherein the system for reading authorized data is pre-formed with a database used for storing the data generated by operating the application program system. Therefore, the user merely submits a data-reading request to the system for reading authorized data, which retrieves data requested by the user from the database. In the foregoing method and system, no startup program of the application service provider is necessarily installed in the terminal device, so that cost in purchasing authorization for using the application program system and load of the application program system are decreased.

Abstract: A server system and method is proposed for providing online multidimensional production data report, which allows a production manager to view production-related data, including procurement data, purchase order data, stock data, shipment data, and so on, in a multidimensional format via a network system, such as the Internet. The proposed server system and method is characterized by the use of an SQL (Structured Query Language) server and OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) service to process production data in a multidimensional format to create a multi-dimensional production data report, and by the use of a Web server for online access to the multidimensional production data report. This allows a production manager to gain access to the multidimensional production data report by using an Internet-connected computer unit to link to the Web server, and multidimensionally view and analyze the production data via Internet using a spreadsheet program or a Web browser program.

Abstract: A method and a system for maintaining efficient material inventory are proposed, in which data related to material stock and product orders from overseas manufactories of an enterprise are stored into a database server through a network such as internet or intranet, and the stored data are processed and integrated to generate a report of current material inventory conditions, so as to manage and procure materials according to the report for maintaining safe material inventory. This allows the enterprise to immediately monitor and control material stock quantity in its manufactories, so as to maintain sufficient material inventory for supporting prompt and timely product delivery in response to client orders, and to effectively organize and manage material stock of the manufactories for reducing capital costs.
