  • Publication number: 20210258115
Abstract: Various proposed schemes pertaining to extreme high-throughput (EHT) preamble designs for transmissions to mixed clients in wireless communications are described. In one example, an aggregated Physical Layer Convergence Procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU), which is transmitted over a plurality of 80-MHz bandwidths with data for a plurality of stations (STAs), is received. A preamble of a specific one of the plurality of 80-MHz bandwidths is then decoded.

Abstract: A station (STA) for communicating with an Access Point (AP) in a wireless communication system is provided. The STA includes a wireless transceiver and a processor. The wireless transceiver performs wireless transmission and reception to and from the AP. The processor receives allocation information indicating a first user block for the STA in a first RU of an MU-PPDU from the AP via the wireless transceiver, and the first RU includes multiple user blocks allocated for different STAs. Also, the processor sends Uplink (UL) data or receives Downlink (DL) data in the first user block to or from the AP via the wireless transceiver according to the allocation information.

  • Publication number: 20090252261
Abstract: A wireless communication system, an apparatus and a method for processing a received OFDM signal is provided. The wireless communication system comprises an interface and a processing apparatus. The interface is configured to receive a received OFDM signal. The processing apparatus comprises an estimation module and a calculation module. The estimation module is configured to estimate an auto-correlation matrix relating to the received OFDM signal, with the auto-correlation matrix comprising a plurality of elements. Then, the calculation module is configured to calculate an amplitude and a phase for each of the elements to determine the carrier frequency offset (CFO) and timing offset (TO) of the received OFDM signal according to the amplitudes and phases. By exploiting the auto-correlation matrix of the received OFDM signal, the CFO and TO can be derived efficiently.

  • Patent number: 7474255
Abstract: The present invention relates to a target tracking method of radar with frequency modulated continuous wave, which transmits a transmitted signal to receive a return wave of the transmitted signal that is used for detecting the target and obtaining the relative distance between the target and the radar. The target tracking method includes transmitting a frequency modulated continuous wave and receiving the reflected wave; getting a reflected wave corresponding to the target by detecting the reflected wave; getting a range gate error by seeking the plurality of the range gates corresponding to the reflected wave; and getting a position and a speed of the target at next time by knowing the position of the target at present time basis of the range gate error. Hence, the relative distance between the radar and the target is got.
