The method for electronic commerce using a digital ticket includes hiding a message comprising a random number and transmitting the hidden message to a ticket issuer, receiving the hidden message signed with a digital signature by the ticket issuer, verifying the digital signature on the message, and transmitting the message with the verified digital signature to the ticket issuer to consume a digital ticket.

Abstract: In a method and apparatus for providing/receiving a user interface (UI), a client requests a first server for a UI that is necessary to access a second server, and the first server having a plurality of UIs provides at least one of the plurality of UIs to the client. Accordingly, the client, which cannot use a UI provided by the second server, can receive the UI from the first server and access the second server.

The method includes receiving a set of services and collecting application programmable interfaces (APIs) of the services, and generating a mashup graph by using the collected APIs according to information regarding connections between the APIs and weights between the APIs. Thus, a mashup graph having a simple form in which a user's preference can be reflected can be generated, instead of a complicated connection matrix.

Abstract: Provided is a method and apparatus for managing authentication information in a home network, the method includes the operation of receiving Product Identification Number (PIN) information that is externally input and is an identifier allocated to a control device or a controlled device at the time of manufacture; and transmitting authentication information to the control device or the controlled device via a Secure Authenticated Channel (SAC) generated by using a Transport Layer Security Pre-Shared Key ciphersuites (TLS-PSK) protocol implemented by using the PIN information, wherein the authentication information is necessary for a user to control the controlled device via the control device.

Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus to ensuring communication security between a control apparatus and a controlled apparatus in a home network. The control apparatus in the home network establishes a registration Secure Authenticated Channel (SAC) with the controlled apparatus by using a Transport Layer Security Pre-Shared Key ciphersuites (TLS-PSK) protocol implemented by using a Product Identification Number (PIN) of the controlled apparatus input from a user, shares a private key with the controlled apparatus via the registration SAC, and uses services of the controlled apparatus via a service SAC established by using the TLS-PSK protocol implemented by using the shared private key to easily implement a framework ensuring communication security in the home network.

Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for managing digital rights management (DRM) rights objects, and more particularly, to a method and apparatus for downloading and managing DRM rights objects by accessing a device, which does not support DRM technology, using a universal plug and play (UPnP) network. The method includes requesting a media server, which has downloaded specified content, to provide meta information of the content; determining whether to download a rights object for the content based on the meta information of the content; requesting an approval for the download of the rights object if it is determined to download the rights object; and providing the downloaded rights object to the media server.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for sharing secret information between devices in a home network are provided. In the method and apparatus, home network devices receive a password (credential) input by a user and encrypt secret information based on the credential by using keys generated according to a predetermined identity-based encryption (IBE) scheme. Accordingly, it is possible to securely share the secret information between home network devices without any certificate authority or certificate.
