    Abstract: The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a method of controlling the same. The mobile terminal of the present invention includes a first body equipped with a first display unit and a user input unit, a second body equipped with a second display unit and coupled to the first body in a sliding manner, and a controller that controls at least one of display of an image and display of a control menu with respect to at least one of the first and second display units according to a distance where the second body slides from a position where the second body has slid down to the first body. According to the present invention, at least one of display of an image and display of a control menu can be controlled in response to a distance where the second body slides.
