  • Patent number: 7725988
Abstract: Disclosed are a hinge assembly and a mobile device having the hinge assembly. In the mobile device, a rotation portion 14 slides and rotates on a base portion 10, so as to be inclined to the base portion 10. For this reason, the rotation portion 14 is connected to the base portion by means of the hinge assembly 20 so as to slide and rotate on the base portion 10. The rotation portion 14 slides on the base portion by a predetermined distance, and then rotates to be inclined at a desired angle with respect to the base portion 10. The rotation portion 14 easily rotates with respect to the base portion of the mobile device, so that the status of the mobile device can be easily converted. Further, when the status of the mobile device is converted, the front, rear, left and right of a display screen is not changed. As a result, the mobile device should not have a structure of changing a display direction of the display screen.

  • Patent number: 7643272
Abstract: Embodiments of a fastener and a display of a portable computer using the same and methods thereof can reduce a thickness, cost or weight of a display panel. The fastener can include at least a pair of columns spaced apart from each other, a connection for connecting the pair of columns, and first and second catching jaws that can be formed on different portions of the fastener (e.g., lateral sides) such that a part to be coupled can be caught thereto. The first and second catching jaws can be separated by a prescribed height. A front and rear case of a display of a portable computer include a catching hook and the fastener, respectively, so an inverter or the like can be secured in the display.

  • Publication number: 20020131850
Abstract: A reticle transfer system includes a fork arm for withdrawing a reticle from a reticle cassette and transferring the reticule to a predetermined position, a linear carrier for temporarily holding the reticle transferred by the fork arm, and a position sensor for detecting the position of the reticle on the fork arm. The position sensor can detect an abnormal loading state of the reticle to prevent the reticle from being damaged. Additionally, an unpredictable error in a linear carrier can be prevented when the reticle is transferred from the fork arm to the linear carrier.
