  • Patent number: 10759202
Abstract: A ribbon rewinding mechanism for providing stable ribbon tension in a printer includes a base body, a supply shaft assembly, a take-up shaft assembly and a transmission system. Each of the supply shaft assembly and the take-up shaft assembly has an axis rod, an outer cover and an elastic member. The outer cover and the axis rod drive each other through the elastic member. The outer covers of the supply shaft assembly and the take-up shaft assembly are connectable to the two ends of a ribbon, respectively. The axis rods of the supply shaft assembly and the take-up shaft assembly are connected to the base body and the transmission system through unidirectional transmission elements, respectively, so that the ribbon can be stably and continuously rewound for a distance needed.

  • Patent number: 9132675
Abstract: A pressure-balanced mechanism for a print head includes a fixation frame, a pivot point assembly, a print head assembly and a depression assembly. The pivot point assembly further includes a supportive shaft and a pivotal structure. The supportive shaft is connected to the fixation frame. The pivotal structure is to movably sleeve the supportive shaft. The print head assembly further includes a frame structure and a print head module. The frame structure is to sleeve the supportive shaft and has the pivotal structure to contact at an inside thereof. The print head module is mounted inside the frame structure by separating from the pivotal structure. The depression assembly further includes a fix shaft and two depression structures. The fix shaft is connected to the fixation frame. The depression structure slippery along the fix shaft can contact elastically the frame structure outside to the print head module.

  • Publication number: 20140255074
Abstract: A tension adjustment device includes a swing arm having a central portion defining a pivot point; a tape guide rod sleeved rotatably on a left portion of the swing arm; a stop block disposed on the swing arm; a biasing member having one end fixed to a fixing element and a second end biasing the swing arm; a carrier disk disposed adjacent to and biased by the stop block; and a reel of carbon tape mounted on the carrier disk, and having a carbon tape with a predetermined tape section trained around the tape guide rod in such a manner to be dispensed outward along a dispensing path. During the dispensing operation, a total tension force is generated on the tape guide rod due to two tension forces caused by trained on of the predetermined tape section, wherein, the stop block disengages from the carrier disk.

  • Publication number: 20110020045
Abstract: A printing medium roll clamping support is provided for use in a barcode printer and includes at least two bases, each having a top forming at least one connection section and at least two positioning sections, and at least two changeover devices, each having opposite surfaces respectively forming a first positioning ring and a second positioning ring. The bases are respectively and movably fit in tracks defined in a housing of the barcode printer to allow the bases to be selectively moved inward for clamping a roll of printing medium or moved outward for releasing the roll of printing medium. Each changeover device has a bottom forming a pivot joint section and at least two positioning elements.

  • Publication number: 20110020044
Abstract: A printing medium clamp mechanism is provided for use in a barcode printer and includes a housing, at least one swivel arm, at least one resilient element, at least one medium roll clamps, and at least two movable arms. The housing comprises an inner casing arranged therein. The inner casing forms two through slots serving as tracks. The swivel arm is rotatably mounted to a bottom of the inner casing. The resilient element is connected between an end of the swivel arm and the inner casing to provide a biasing force for return rotation of the swivel arm. The medium roll clamps are respectively and movably received in the tracks.
