  • Patent number: 8215529
Abstract: An improved pneumatic device includes a body having a hollow cavity, defining an X axis and having a first end and a second end. The body includes a movable cylinder, a nail-firing piston rod and at least one exhaust hole. The movable cylinder and the nail-firing piston rod reciprocate along the X axis in the body by performing a forward stroke to the second end, and a return stroke back to the first end. The movable cylinder presents an open status when completing the forward stroke and presents a closed status when completing the return stroke. The movable cylinder has an exhaust hole and an exhaust valve disposed at an outer periphery thereof. When the nail-firing piston rod has not completed the return stroke yet and the cylinder is in the closed status, an exhaust channel is thereby formed to facilitate exhausting of air.

  • Patent number: 8052021
Abstract: A braking mechanism for empty nail cartridge of a nail gun includes a guiding plate, a cover plate, a punch rod, a securing slide rod and a nail cartridge. A nail hole and an end hole are defined in the guiding plate having a connecting groove. A nail pusher and a pushing arm are arranged in the nail cartridge to provide resilient force along a nail firing direction. The pushing arm is pivotably placed on the nail pusher adjacent the brake portion for affording the resilient force. The pushing arm allows the brake portion of the nail pusher to go through the end hole and move into the end hole to block the stopper of the securing sliding rod when the nails are used up. The pushing arm moves into the connecting groove to improve the yield rate of the brake of the empty nail cartridge of the nail gun.

  • Publication number: 20110194886
Abstract: A corner joint of a frame for fixing a solar panel disposed between two adjacent frame pieces of the frame includes an L shaped member and a sheath. Two ends of the L shaped member separately extend to one corresponding frame piece of the two adjacent frame pieces to form an extending arm plugged into a latching slot defined in an end of the corresponding frame piece. The L shaped member further includes a bending portion defining a mortise extending to the extending arm. The sheath includes two adjacent joint surfaces for abutting the two adjacent frame pieces. The sheath defines an upper receiving space and a lower receiving space therein. The upper receiving space and the lower receiving space are separately exposed from the joint surfaces. The upper receiving space and the lower receiving space are configured for receiving a corner of the solar panel and the bending portion, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20110168753
Abstract: A braking mechanism for empty nail cartridge of a nail gun includes a guiding plate, a cover plate, a punch rod, a securing slide rod and a nail cartridge. A nail hole and an end hole are defined in the guiding plate. A connecting hole is defined in the guiding plate. The nail hole and the connecting hole communicate with the punching channel respectively. A connecting groove is defined in the cover plate. A nail pusher and a pushing arm are arranged in the nail cartridge to provide resilient force along a nail filling direction. The pushing arm is pivotably placed on the nail pusher adjacent to the brake portion for affording the resilient force. The pushing arm is opposite to the nail hole. The pushing arm pushes the nails into the punch channel in sequence and allows the brake portion of the nail pusher to go through the end hole and move into the end hole to block the stopper of the securing sliding rod when the nails is use up.

  • Publication number: 20100127035
Abstract: In a braking mechanism for a nail gun, the nail gun includes a nail driving track, a magazine and an inner trigger for controlling a shooting action of the nail gun. The braking mechanism includes a safety rod, a sliding member, a swing stem, and a guide plate. The sliding member is slidably received in the magazine. The sliding member is configured for pushing nails received in the magazine into the nail driving track. The swing stem is resiliently and pivotally mounted on the sliding member. The swing stem includes a braking portion. A straight path is defined between the safety rod and the barking portion. A protrusion is formed on the braking portion. The guide plate is disposed at an end of the straight path. The guide plate is configured for guiding the protrusion such that the braking portion moves away from the straight path.

  • Publication number: 20100006619
Abstract: A nail gun includes a fastener drive track capable of receiving fasteners having different length. A faster positioning assembly includes at least one swinging member and a stop portion. The swinging member is elastically and pivotably disposed at a side of the fastener drive track. The stop portion is formed at an end of the swinging member and received in the fastener drive track. The stop portion is configured for positioning fasteners prior to the fasteners are hit, and the stop portion retractably exits from the fastener drive track when a long fastener is received in the fastener drive track. The fastener positioning assembly enables the nail gun to drive fasteners having different length, as such, it is very convenient to use such nail gun to join different workpiece having different thickness on an object.
