Patent number: 11949164Abstract: Register banks are used to allow for fast beam switching in a phased array system. Each beam forming channel is associated with a register bank containing M register sets for configuring such things as gain/amplitude and phase parameters of the beam forming channel. The register banks for all beam forming channels can be pre-programmed and then fast beam switching circuitry allows all beam forming channels across the array to be switched to use the same register set from its corresponding register bank at substantially the same time, thereby allowing the phased array system to be quickly switched between various beam patterns and orientations. Active power control circuitry may be used to control the amount of electrical power provided to or consumed by one or more individual beam forming channels such as to reduce DC power consumption of the array and/or to selectively change the effective directivity of the array.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2023Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: Anokiwave, Inc.Inventors: Kristian N. Publication number: 20190034980Abstract: A scalable voucher system used to manage how content (specifically advertisements) is delivered to client devices is described. The advertisements are stored on a plurality of different ad servers. With the use of vouchers that are assigned to each ad server for pre-determined periods of time, the voucher system is able to manage when and how advertisements should be provided to the client devices. The voucher system also provides an arrangement that allows for the use of additional ad servers to be scalable. As the number of client devices that would need to be serviced with advertisements increases, the voucher system is able to easily accommodate the increase number of clients with the implementation of additional clusters of ad servers and corresponding processors without significant changes to the underlying system.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 26, 2017Publication date: January 31, 2019Inventors: Sean Ian Allen, Matthew Bennett, Alexandra Nsonwu

Patent number: 9396038Abstract: A private cloud-based processing pipeline apparatus and method for its use is disclosed. A first load balancer directs data packets to one of a plurality of collectors. The collectors authenticate the data packet. Then a second load balancer receives the data packet from the collector and to direct the data packet to one of a plurality of extract transform load (ETL) frontends, where the data packet is converted from a platform dependent form into a platform independent form and loaded into a queue. Handlers then process the converted data packets. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. Publication number: 20050145721Abstract: Disclosed is an invention relating to the application of microdots to an article to provide identification of that article, for example in the event of theft. This may relate to the application of identifying microdots to a vehicle such as an automobile, truck, motorcycle, boat, or jet ski. Also disclosed is an application system for identifier labels which is particularly useful in applying identifier labels to articles or products such as vehicles. In embodiments of this invention, a dynamic fluid such as provided by compressed air is utilized to apply a mixture of identifier labels and a base fluid, such as an adhesive or paint, to an article. Publication number: 20010032271Abstract: A method, device and software for ensuring path diversity across a communications network are disclosed. The method forms a digest of resources used in an initial, working, path is created as the initial path is established. This digest may be used during the formation of a subsequent, protection, path. Each node along the subsequent path can use the digest to ensure that resources are not common to the initial and subsequent paths. Conveniently, the digest may take the form of a Bloom filter that summarizes local information about resources known to each node along the initial path.
