  • Publication number: 20060191926
Abstract: Microwave heating system comprising a plurality of microwave applicators for heating loads arranged in said applicators, a control means, one microwave generator to generate microwave energy having a controllable frequency and power level, and a microwave switch arranged to connect said microwave generator to each of said applicators. Each microwave applicator is dedicated a heating time slot in a time frame, and that said time frame comprises time slots for applicators to be heated. During microwave heating, microwave energy is applied to the microwave applicators in its respective time slot, in consecutive time frames.

  • Publication number: 20050214441
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for rendering fingerprint(s) visible by subjecting or exposing the surface of the substrate presumably bearing the fingerprint(s), or at least a corresponding region of said surface, to a fuming agent, under adapted conditions. Said method is characterized in that said fuming agent consists of an agent able to react with the fatty substances of the fingerprints and incorporating an additive substance able to mark a film-like material coated or impregnated with an adapted reactive substance, and in that said method also consists in then placing a portion of such a film-like material in a close position to said surface or surface region and, possibly, submitting said exposed portion of said film-like material to a developing or visualisation process.

  • Patent number: 6842839
Abstract: The present invention relates to capacity management, and more particularly to capacity management on devices which have limited storage capacity. Until recently, however, storage has not been a problem for such portable communication devices since generally the only information stored thereon has been names, addresses and the like. Such data does not require vast amounts of storage and generally easily fits in the storage capacity provided in such devices. Advances in radiotelephone technology, for example, such as accessing the Internet, however, put increasing demands on the limited storage capacity available, especially with an increasing desire to download application files for use on such devices. The present invention overcomes the above mentioned problems.

  • Patent number: 6480725
Abstract: A telephone is disclosed which comprises a memory (6) for storing first information, such as ID information, and a memory module receiver (10) for removably receiving a memory module for storing second information, such as ID information. The telephone also comprises a microprocessor (4) for detecting a change in contact between the memory module and the memory module receiver (10) since the previous use of the telephone. The microprocessor (4) uses the first information when the memory module and receiving means are not in contact and the second information when memory module and receiving means are in contact whilst there is no change detected. However, when a change is detected, the information to be used by the microprocessor (4) is selected, either automatically or manually.
