    Abstract: Provided is a high-concentration and high-purity eicosapentaenoic acid-containing composition. A method for producing an eicosapentaenoic acid alkyl ester-containing composition, the method includes: (1) bringing a raw oil that contains an eicosapentaenoic acid alkyl ester into contact with an aqueous solution that contains a silver salt, and then collecting an aqueous layer; (2) adding an organic solvent to the aqueous layer, and then collecting an organic solvent layer; and (3) subjecting the organic solvent layer to vacuum distillation at a temperature of 180 to 188° C. and a tower top vacuum degree of 0.7 Pa or below, to recover the eicosapentaenoic acid alkyl ester from the organic solvent layer.

    Abstract: To provide a method for manufacturing zeolite membrane that has characteristics of being resistant to the reaction for a long time and in the high-temperature range, and has characteristic of long-duration hydrogen generation. The inventors of the present invention successfully produced a highly dense zeolite membrane by the steps of: evacuating the surface of porous support not adding the zeolite seed crystals dropwise, thus densely filling the seed crystals in the micropores; and applying hydrothermal treatment to the seed crystals. In addition, the inventors of the present invention confirmed that the zeolite membrane manufactured by the above methods has the characteristic of generating hydrogen for a long time.

    Abstract: A network managing apparatus detects a router capable of using Telnet from among nodes in a network and causes that router to send a broadcast ping to other nodes. Each node in the network returns a ping reply to the router. The ping and the ping reply pass through a switch before arriving at their destinations. When the ping and the ping reply pass thorough the switch, the switch extracts MAC addresses of sender nodes and store them in its MAC address table. Thus, accurate topology of the network can be obtained from the MAC address table of the switch.
