    Abstract: A grinding apparatus includes a first grinding mechanism, a second grinding mechanism, and a third grinding mechanism for grinding wafers held on respective chuck tables. The first grinding mechanism and the second grinding mechanism are positioned with respect to the chuck tables such that a second ground mark produced on a wafer by second grindstones of the second grinding mechanism as it grinds the wafer extends across a first ground mark produced on the wafer by first grindstones of the first grinding mechanism as it grinds the wafer. The second grinding mechanism and the third grinding mechanism are positioned with respect to the chuck tables such that a third ground mark produced on the wafer by third grindstones of the third grinding mechanism as it grinds the wafer extends across the second ground mark produced on the wafer by the second grindstones.

    Abstract: An article inspection apparatus is capable of inspecting an article which cannot be sorted out by image processing or a diagnostic process that employs energy to be transmitted through the article. A hitting sound is generated by a hitting sound generating device when an article is hit, and is detected by a sound detecting device and analyzed by a detected-sound analyzer. The analyzed result is converted into a pattern by a detected-sound pattern generator, and the pattern is matched with registered reference patterns from a reference pattern registering device by a pattern matching device. Based on the result of matching, the article is sorted out by an article sorting device. It is possible to detect the material of a container, such as cans of aluminum and iron which are identical in shape and size to each other. It is also possible to check the amount of a substance in a container that cannot directly be seen, or inspect baked articles for pores contained therein.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a production method and an apparatus for double curve formed products for producing double curve formed products easily at low cost, stabilizing an accuracy in configurational dimension of the double curve formed product and improving an accuracy in assembly thereof, the production apparatus being of a simple construction apparatus. Around an inner die in which an end portion of a treatment product is engaged, an outer die in which the other end portion of the treatment product is engaged is rotated relative to each other at predetermined angles. At this time, a side face of the treatment product is curved so that it is successively folded back. By a deformation reaction caused at this time, the side face of this curved portion is pressed against a processing curved surface of the inner die such that the side face is deformed along the processing curved surface.

The IC memory card and the DAT tape record a serial number of the image, an INDEX image of the image, patient data, and image data. The IC memory card records an ID number of the DAT tape, while the DAT tape records an ID number of the IC memory card.
