  • Patent number: 7282810
Abstract: An electric power supply system for a vehicle has an electric power line wired in a loop configuration. From the electric power line power is supplied to a load, and to another system which supplies control system power supply. One shutdown circuit is provided in a module connected to the loop configured power supply line. When the electric power line and the load are short circuited, the shutdown can isolate and shut down only the failure point. Further, when the car is not in use, by stopping the power supply to the load, current consumption can be restrained. In response to detection of a ground short and a failure of a connection of a connector, an over-current prevention of an electric power line, a simple construction can be provided and a low current consumption can be realized.

  • Publication number: 20030075980
Abstract: An electric power line is wired with a loop shape and from this electric power line a power supply for a load is supplied, and according to another system against this electric power line, a control system power supply is supplied. One shutdown means is provided in a module which is connected to the loop shape power supply supplying line, when the electric power line and the load become a short, by separating using the shutdown means, only a fail point can be separated. Further, during a sleep time, by stopping the power supply supplying to the load, a consumption current can be restrained. According to a detection a ground short and a fail on a connection of a connector, an over-current prevention of an electric power line a simple construction can be improved and a low consumption current can be realized.

  • Patent number: 6205010
Abstract: In an electric power switch circuit with an overcurrent or overheating protection function, unnecessary ON-OFF cycling is prevented. A MOSFET is used as an electric power element for energizing a load according to a control signal. A temperature detector detects the temperature in the neighborhood of the MOSFET, and a control unit opens a switch, interrupting input of the control signal to the MOSPET when the temperature detected by the temperature detecting means is higher than the predetermined temperature. An interruption status retaining device maintains the interruption of the control signal, preventing repetitive ON-OFF cycling.

  • Patent number: 5486860
Abstract: A video camera has a memory for storing the position of an image lens in relation to the position of a variator lens, that is, zoom tracing curves in respect of individual subject distances, a motor for moving the image lens while vibrating it slightly during zooming operation, a variation component extractor circuit for extracting the amplitude and phase of a slight variation component of focusing voltage generated by moving the image lens while vibrating it slightly, and a controller for controlling drive means on the basis of the stored zoom tracing curves and an extracted slight variation component. During zooming operation, the controller first controls the motor in compliance with a position of the variator lens pursuant to a zoom tracing curve stored in the memory in association with a position assumed by the image lens immediately before start of the zooming operation.
