    Abstract: The present invention realizes a thin dual-polarized leaky-wave antenna which uses a CRLH (Composite Right/Left Handed) transmission line and capable of obtaining a high tilt angle in a directivity in the vertical plane while suppressing cross polarization and side lobe at a target operation frequency. Specifically, the present invention provides a leaky-wave antenna including a dielectric substrate, a ground surface formed on a bottom surface of the dielectric substrate, a ground unit formed on a top surface of the dielectric substrate, and a CRLH (Composite Right/Left Handed) transmission line which is arranged adjacent to the ground unit and formed on a top surface of the dielectric substrate and uses a coplanar transmission line with a ground, in which a series capacitor (CL) and a parallel inductor (LL) constituting the CRLH transmission line are formed on a top surface of the dielectric substrate.

    Abstract: To provide a leaky-wave antenna that allows dual-polarization without limiting an emission range to either side. The antenna includes as an element unit (AE) a CRLH transmission line configured by multiply connecting CRLH unit cells (UC) in a periodic fashion between one ends and the other ends of two parallel lines (La, Lb). The respective unit cells (UC) have a left-handed series capacitor (C1, C2) on each of the two parallel lines (La, Lb) and have a left-handed parallel inductor (L1) between the two parallel lines (La, Lb). When power is fed between the two parallel lines (La, Lb), the two parallel lines (La, Lb) and the series capacitor (C1, C2) serve to emit a vertical polarization component, and the parallel inductor (L1) and a conductor between the two parallel lines (La, Lb) serve to emit a horizontal polarization component.

    Abstract: In the case of bridal showers, for example, gift may not reflect the wish of a recipient who is expected to receive the gift. No proposed gift service systems succeed in matching the wish of the recipient of the gift with intention of a giver who desires to give the gift. The gift service system of the present invention provides a server SV having a storage device 34 that stores data regarding the gift therein. The recipient who is expected to receive the gift gains access from a first terminal 80 to the server SV and creates a registry. The recipient then selects desired items for the gift and registers a wish list of the selected items. A password to gain access to a site, in which the wish list is registered, and other required pieces of information are then transferred to one or plural potential givers who may give the gift.

    Abstract: A workpiece which is made by integrally combining an outer member and an inner member through hemming is manufactured efficiently in a common apparatus. An outer member and an inner member are combined to alternately subassemble two kinds of workpieces at a common subassembly station. A hemming station is disposed on a downstream side of the subassembly station in a manufacturing line. In this hemming station, a first hemming apparatus for the first kind of workpiece and a second hemming apparatus for the second kind of workpiece are disposed in a side by side relationship with each other. The first kind of workpiece subassembled in the subassembly station and the second kind of workpiece are alternately fed to the first hemming apparatus and the second hemming apparatus by a workpiece feeding robot.
