  • Publication number: 20130139767
Abstract: A cooling system for a piston of an internal combustion engine includes a cooling channel (34) designed as an oil passage embedded in the piston and arranged adjacent to a top ring groove, and an oil supply portion (8) that supplies oil to the cooling channel. An amount of oil supplied from the oil supply portion to the cooling channel is made larger when an amount of heat generated in a combustion chamber is large than when the amount of heat generated in the combustion chamber is small.

  • Publication number: 20070081108
Abstract: An array substrate for a flat-panel display device and manufacturing method thereof, enabling a reliable repairing of a wire breakage within a pixel area, irrespective of nature of the wire breakage, especially irrespective of nature, dimensions and shape of a foreign matter causing the wire breakage. For example, when the wire breakage due to foreign matter is formed on a signal line, the foreign matter is removed and then a bypass wire detouring the wire breakage is formed by laser CVD technique. On beforehand, a rectangular cutout is formed on a neighboring pixel electrode by laser irradiation; and contact holes for exposing upper faces of two wire parts of the signal line as separated by the wire breakage. After forming angled-C shaped bypass wire along edges of the cutout on the pixel electrode, a light insulator film is formed at inside of the bypass wire by laser CVD technique.

  • Patent number: 4486170
Abstract: In a liquid fuel combustion apparatus, the upper end of a wick is ready to be ignited when it projects upward from a pan portion, and is extinguished when it is withdrawn downward from the pan portion. The wick moves up and down as a first operating lever swings around an operating shaft. If the first operating lever is lowered, a retaining lever is raised by a bent strip. When the wick is in a position for high-temperature combustion, a retaining portion of the retaining lever engages a receiving portion of an interlocking plate. When the first operating lever is lowered, its engaging pin engages an engaging slit of an adjusting lever. If a knob of a thermal power control plate is moved up and down along a slot, the adjusting lever swings around a support pin, and the first operating lever swings slightly through the engaging pin and the engaging slit. Thus, the wick is moved up and down in a combustion region for adjustment of thermal power.
