  • Publication number: 20060131104
Abstract: A sound-absorbing structure body according to the present invention comprises a ridge-groove board (11) formed with a large number of ridges and grooves, a closing board (15) joined to the ridge-groove board so as to close one side of the ridge-groove board and thereby form a hollow portion (13), a partition board (21) for partitioning the hollow portion (13) into two or more partitioned spaces (22a, 22b), and two or more holes (25a, 25b) opened in the ridge-groove board so as to bring into communication with each of the two or more partitioned spaces (22a, 22b).

  • Publication number: 20060096183
Abstract: A sound-absorbing structure using thin film of the present invention includes at least a first thin film (11) and a second thin film (12), the first thin film (11) and the second thin film (12) being layered over each other and one or both of the first thin film (11) and the second thin film (12) having at least either ridges or grooves (ridges (a) in the selected figure). As each of the thin films (11) and (12), a metallic thin film or a resinous thin film is employable. It is desirable that fine through holes are formed in a large number in the thin films (11) and (12).

  • Publication number: 20040191474
Abstract: A perforated soundproof structure is formed by oppositely arranging an external plate 1 and an internal plate 2 having a number of through-holes 2a. The board thickness, hole diameter and open area ratio of the internal plate 2 are set to satisfy design conditions to give rise to a viscous effect in the air passing through the through-holes 2a, and the design conditions are set so that the frequency bandwidth to attain an absorption coefficient of 0.3 or more is 10% or more of the resonance frequency.

  • Patent number: 6708626
Abstract: A double-walled damping structure includes two parallel face plates 1 and 2, a plurality of ribs 3 and 4 extending in the same direction to connect the two parallel face plates 1 and 2, wherein in a section taken perpendicularly to the direction of extension of the ribs 3 and 4, all or most of the holes defined by the adjacent two ribs and the face plates are trapezoidal. The structure less transmits vibration, and is capable of further increasing a damping effect when a damping material is attached.

  • Patent number: 5895538
Abstract: A truss type extruded aluminum section is formed of a pair of planar plates and ribs, wherein hollow portions are formed within said section by the ribs and the planar plates. Vibration-damping resin is provided on the inner surfaces of hollow portions, and particularly on the inner surface of the planar plate and on a single surface of the inclined rib. With this arrangement, the vibration energy bending the planar plate and the rib is converted into a heat energy. In the case of manufacturing such truss type extruded aluminum vibration-damping section, for making easy the insertion of the vibration-damping resin in the hollow portion, the vibration-damping resin is stuck on a plastic film to form a long planar body. The plastic film serves as a cover or an adhesive. Moreover, in the case of directly inserting the vibration-damping resin sheet, the vibration-damping resin sheet is subjected to embossing on the adhesive-bonding side for allowing air to escape.

  • Patent number: 5690035
Abstract: A truss type extruded aluminum section (1) is formed of a pair of planar plates (2)(3) and ribs (4)(5)(6), wherein hollow portions (7)(8)(9) are formed within the section (1) by the ribs (4)(5)(6) and the planar plates (2)(3). Vibration-damping resin is provided on the inner surfaces of hollow portions (7)(8)(9), and particularly on the inner surface of the planar plate (3) and on a single surface of the inclined rib (4). With this arrangement, the vibration energy bending the planar plate (3) and the rib (4) is converted into a heat energy. In the case of manufacturing such truss type extruded aluminum vibration-damping section (1), for making easy the insertion of the vibration-damping resin in the hollow portion, the vibration-damping resin is stuck on a plastic film (11) to form a long planar body. The plastic film (11) serves as a cover or an adhesive.
