  • Publication number: 20220201782
Abstract: Devices and methods presented in this disclosure provide a single-channel WLAN device with a small add-on in the form of a second digital interface component and switch circuitry to allow for two such WLAN devices to be cascaded to support dual-channel WLAN operations. The WLAN device may include a first digital interface component including a first digital interface terminal configured for communicating with a first device external to the WLAN device; a second digital interface component including a second digital interface terminal configured for communicating with a second device external to the WLAN device; a switch circuitry coupling the first digital interface component to the second digital interface component and to a WLAN modem; and the WLAN modem configured to operate in one or more frequency bands and including one or more terminals configured to be coupled with a RF front end (FE) circuitry.

  • Publication number: 20210184887
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to label based isochronous connection update. A central Bluetooth low energy (BLE) device may send a plurality of labels to a peripheral BLE device during a setup of a BLE communication to notify the peripheral BLE device of one or more labels to be used during the BLE communication. The central BLE device may determine a channel variation between the central BLE device and the peripheral BLE device. The central BLE device may send a first label to the peripheral BLE device to indicate an isochronous (ISO) parameter update that will occur at a first time offset based on the channel variation. The central BLE device may implement the isochronous parameter update at the first time offset based on the channel variation.

  • Patent number: 10244409
Abstract: To provide for higher data rates, a wireless back haul network for connecting small cell base stations to a core network can be implemented using full-duplex over single channel communications. The difficulty with full-duplex over single channel communications, and the reason why it has not become common place in wireless and mobile communication standards to date, is the significant interference that the receiver of a full-duplex communication device will generally experience from the full-duplex communication device's own transmitter transmitting over the same channel that the receiver is to receive signals. This interference is referred to as self-interference because the interference experienced by the receiver originates from its own paired transmitter. The present disclosure describes embodiments of an apparatus and method that provide sufficient self-interference cancellation in a compact and power efficient manner for a small cell wireless backhaul network.
