Patent number: 11994323Abstract: There is provided a refrigerant charging method in which a foreign material and moisture are avoided from entering a heat source unit until a refrigeration cycle apparatus is configured. The refrigerant charging method is a method of charging a refrigerant to a refrigerant circuit in which a refrigeration cycle is to be performed by a circulating refrigerant, the refrigerant circuit being configured by connecting a second heat source unit and a utilization unit to each other. The refrigerant charging method includes charging a first refrigerant to the second heat source unit before connecting the second heat source unit to the utilization unit to configure the refrigerant circuit, and connecting the second heat source unit to the utilization unit and charging a second refrigerant that differs from the first refrigerant to the refrigerant circuit to obtain the circulating refrigerant that includes the second refrigerant and the first refrigerant that is charged in the second heat source unit.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 2019Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD.Inventors: Takuro Yamada, Atsushi Yoshimi, Eiji Kumakura, Ikuhiro Iwata, Shun Ohkubo

Patent number: 11988426Abstract: Efficiency in refrigerant charging work is addressed when a recovered refrigerant recovered from a first heat source unit is to be charged to a second heat source unit. A refrigerant charging method is a charging method used when a first heat source unit of an already installed refrigeration cycle apparatus in which a refrigeration cycle is to be performed by a refrigerant that circulates is to be replaced with a second heat source unit. The refrigerant charging method includes recovering a first refrigerant from an already installed refrigeration cycle apparatus and obtaining a recovered refrigerant and charging the recovered refrigerant and charging a second refrigerant whose composition differs from the composition of the recovered refrigerant to the refrigeration cycle apparatus after renewal that includes the second heat source unit.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 2019Date of Patent: May 21, 2024Assignee: DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD.Inventors: Takuro Yamada, Atsushi Yoshimi, Eiji Kumakura, Ikuhiro Iwata, Shun Ohkubo

Patent number: 7895857Abstract: An indoor unit of an air conditioner wherein a pipe retaining member retaining auxiliary piping connected to a heat exchanger is disposed near both a lateral side and an underside of a mounting frame. The pipe retaining member is bent in an L-shape, and its short plate is exposed on the underside of the mounting frame. The pipe retaining member can be removed only by slightly separating a lower part of the mounting frame from a wall in the fixed state of the indoor unit to the wall. Since the heat exchanger can be separated from the mounting frame without disconnecting the auxiliary piping from communication piping, maintenance work such as washing of the heat exchanger is efficiently performed without requiring much time and effort for separating the auxiliary piping from the communication piping.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 2005Date of Patent: March 1, 2011Assignee: Daikin Industies, Ltd.Inventors: Kiyoshi Inoue, Katsuhiro Wakihara, Toshiaki Yamada, Ikuhiro Yamada, Shiro Kashiwa

Patent number: 7694526Abstract: A shielding member includes a shielding plate for covering a part of a heat exchanger, heat transfer tube engagement sections for engaging with heat transfer tubes of the heat exchanger, fin engagement portions for engaging with fins of the heat exchanger, a bypass preventing rib for preventing air from being directed to the part of the heat exchanger, and a mismounting preventing portion for preventing the shielding member from being mounted on a heat exchanger that does not require blocking of air flow. The heat exchanger in which the part covered with the shielding member has no heat exchanging function is manufactured with the same components as those of a heat exchanger on which the shielding member is not mounted and the whole of which has a heat exchanging function.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2005Date of Patent: April 13, 2010Assignee: Daikin Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Kiyoshi Inoue, Katsuhiro Wakihara, Naoko Asai, Toshiaki Yamada, Ikuhiro Yamada, Shiro Kashiwa

Patent number: 7395681Abstract: The present invention provides stretchable warp-knitted fabric that is a 1×1 tricot formed by running a non-elastic yarn and an elastic yarn side by side in such a manner that in each stitch, at least one of the non-elastic yarn and the elastic yarn forms a closed loop, a method for manufacturing the fabric, and stretchable clothing using the fabric at least in a part. Since a cut edge of the knitted fabric can be used as a hem of the clothing without finishing, sewing is simplified. It is possible to provide fashionable clothing that has appropriate stretchability enabling the clothing to well fit the body of the wearer, that is thin and has a beautiful texture, and that, when it is formed in underwear, has a hem line invisible through outerwear.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 2005Date of Patent: July 8, 2008Assignee: Wacoal Corp.Inventors: Kei Oya, Masami Saito, Mayumi Ogawa, Ikuhiro Yamada, Yasue Kawashima

Publication number: 20080000249Abstract: An indoor unit of an air conditioner wherein a pipe retaining member retaining auxiliary piping connected to a heat exchanger is disposed near both a lateral side and an underside of a bottom frame. The pipe retaining member is bent in an L-shape, and its short plate is exposed on the underside of the bottom frame. The pipe retaining member can be removed only by slightly separating a lower part of the bottom frame from a wall in the fixed state of the indoor unit to the wall. Since the heat exchanger can be separated from the bottom frame without disconnecting the auxiliary piping from communication piping, maintenance work such as washing of the heat exchanger is efficiently performed without requiring much time and effort for separating the auxiliary piping from the communication piping.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 9, 2005Publication date: January 3, 2008Applicant: Daikin Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Kiyoshi Inoue, Katsuhiro Wakihara, Toshiaki Yamada, Ikuhiro Yamada, Shiro Kashiwa
