Abstract: There is provided an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program capable of displaying an effect image indicating a situation of tactile presentation caused by an object. The information processing apparatus according to one aspect of the present technology acquires information regarding a situation of tactile presentation to at least a part of a user's body, and generates an effect image indicating the situation of the tactile presentation. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a transmissive head-mounted display (HMD).
