Abstract: A method of managing a domain, a method of extending a domain, and a method of selecting a reference point controller are provided. The method of operating the domain includes: receiving a request for authenticating a reference point controller from a reference point controller candidate; invalidating a membership of the stored reference point controller; generating a unique reference point controller membership for verifying that the reference point controller candidate is a new reference point controller; and transmitting the generated reference point controller membership to the reference point controller candidate. Accordingly, even when an error occurs in the reference point controller, the function of the reference point controller can be rapidly replaced by using the reference point controller candidate.

Accordingly, it is possible to control a transmission of the data so that the plurality of data can be transmitted through a single session and to receive the transmission status of the data as an event message.

Accordingly, whether to apply a content revocation process can be controlled according to revocation application information.

Abstract: A method of transferring data is provided. The method of transferring data in a data interoperable environment includes: receiving a data transmission request message for requesting the data to be transmitted from a client to at least one destination; gathering information on entities which are to participate in the transmission of the data; and forming a plurality of chains including at least two entities based on the gathered information on the entities and transmitting the data to the at least one destination through the plurality of chains. Accordingly, it is possible to effectively transmit data using multi-chains in a DRM interoperable environment.

Abstract: Provided are a system and method for position awareness that can be used indoors in a large-scale environment and can minimize generation of radio frequency (RF) and ultrasonic waves in a wireless sensor network including low-priced sensor nodes capable of precise position measurement, thus improving energy efficiency by reducing unnecessary power consumption. The method includes the steps of: (a) calculating initial position coordinates using beacon information received from adjacent beacons through a broadcast beacon solicitation signal, sending a synchronization signal to the beacons, and synchronizing the beacons; (b) receiving ultrasonic waves generated from the adjacent beacons activated by a broadcast start message, and calculating position coordinates; and (c) when the calculated position coordinates correspond to a predetermined hand-off threshold position, transmitting a hand-off process message to a newly activated beacon, and executing a hand-off process routine.

Abstract: Provided is a service system for providing context information based on a ubiquitous sensor network and a method thereof. The context information providing service system includes: a sensing block for collecting context information of each user; an intermediating block for changing the user context information transmitted from the sensing block into a request to store the request in a context recognizing block, transmitting the request to the context recognizing block, and transmitting a service request to the context recognizing block; and a context recognizing block for storing context information of each user according to a context information storing request transmitted from the intermediating block, and providing a relevant service by using the user context information.
