  • Patent number: 9041515
Abstract: A display driving integrated circuit operates as both a radio-frequency identification (RFID) reader and a display driver. The display driving integrated circuit operates as the RFID reader by supplying power to an RFID tag, verifying the RFID tag according to communication between the RFID tag and the processor to produce verification data, transferring the verification data from the processor to the RFID tag, and transmitting some of the verification data to the display unit. It operates as a display driver by processing data received from the processor and transferring the processed data to the display unit. The display driving integrated circuit implements functions for the RFID reader and the display unit driver using one or more shared elements selected from a timer, a clock signal generator, a cyclic redundancy check calculator, and a data interface.

  • Patent number: 8711056
Abstract: A multi display device includes a row drive circuit, a column drive circuit and a column line selection circuit. The row drive circuit drives first row lines of a first display panel and second row lines of at least one second display panel. The column drive circuit drives first column lines of the first display panel and second column lines of the second display panel. The column line selection circuit controls a connection between the column drive circuit and one of the first column lines and the second column lines based on a column line selection signal.

  • Patent number: 7365572
Abstract: Provided is a multi-path input buffer circuit, which passes a signal input to a semiconductor device through different paths in consideration of the voltage level of the input signal. The multi-path input buffer circuit includes an input buffer stage, which can be driven using one of at least two power supply voltages, outputs path signals by passing an input signal through at least two paths, selects and enables one of the path signals in response to a plurality of path selection signals, and maintains the rest of the path signals in a high impedance state. The buffer circuit also includes a level shifter, which shifts the voltage level of a signal output from the input buffer stage via the first path, and a first logic operation circuit, which operates in response to the output signal of the input buffer stage and a signal output from the level shifter.

  • Publication number: 20080024481
Abstract: An image display device includes a display panel, a scan driver a data driver, a refresh circuit and a timing controller. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels activated through a plurality of scan lines, and an image data signals are provided through a plurality of data lines. The image data signals to are stored as pixel voltages in the pixels. The refresh circuit is configured to sense the pixel voltages through the data lines and to output one of a first refresh voltage and a second refresh voltage to each of the data lines, to refresh the respective pixel voltage. The timing controller is configured to control the scan driver, the data driver and the refresh circuit.

  • Patent number: 7191402
Abstract: A partial region on a screen can be selected for highlighting. Information related to the partial region is transmitted from a computer to a computer monitor. In one embodiment, the partial region information is sent over a different port from the one used to send video data. The image processor adjusts contrast and sharpness of the partial region according to the partial region information. Adjustments are made for differences in a coordinate system between the computer site and the display device. The partial region can be selected from the computer or from a user interface on the computer monitor. Selected partial regions can be moved in conjunction with movements of windows containing the image. Highlighted selected regions can also be automatically disabled when the window is deactivated.
