  • Patent number: 10113251
Abstract: A sliver guide for guiding a plurality of textile slivers in an entry region of a drawing frame, includes a first guide portion for guiding a first group of textile slivers, and a second guide portion for separately guiding a second group of textile slivers. In a side view of the sliver guide, the first guide portion and the second guide portion are spaced apart from one another. The sliver guide has a third guide portion spaced apart from the first guide portion and from the second guide portion. To at least one of the guide portions, lateral guide elements for laterally guiding textile slivers are assigned, wherein the mutual distance of the guide elements can be adjusted.

  • Publication number: 20170253458
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary plate of a spinning machine, in particular a section or a carding engine, for depositing a sliver in a canister, with a base body (2) and a band channel (3) arranged in the base body (2). In accordance with the invention, it is proposed that, when the rotary plate (1) is used as intended, the side of the rotary plate turned towards the rotary plate (1) features, at least partially, a coating (6) with a spatial configuration made of spherical, irregular elevations (11).

  • Patent number: 9651350
Abstract: A measuring roller for a device for measuring a fiber composite (2), in particular on a draw frame, a carding engine or a comber, is made of a material of low thermal expansion (3) and has a surface coating (4). The measuring roller (1) features a shell surface (5) for clamping a fiber composite (6) along with a rotary axis (7). The shell surface (5) features a structure forming an air buffer, made of grooves (8), boreholes (9), and/or spherical projections (18).

  • Publication number: 20170088978
Abstract: The invention relates to a sliver guide for guiding a multiple number of fiber slivers (2) in an entrance area (3) of a draw frame (4), with a first guide section (5) for guiding a first group of fiber slivers (2), with a second guide section (6) for the separate guidance of a second group of fiber slivers (2), whereas, in a side view of the sliver guide (1), the first guide section (5) and the second guide section (6) are spaced apart from each other. In accordance with the invention, it is proposed that the sliver guide (1) features a third guide section (7) which, in the specified side view, is spaced apart from the first guide section (5) and the second guide section (6), whereas lateral guide elements (9) are allocated to at least one of the guide sections (5; 6; 7) for the lateral guidance of fiber slivers (2), whereas the mutual distance (A) of the lateral guide elements (9) is adjustable.

  • Patent number: 6874204
Abstract: The invention concerns an apparatus for the optimization of the regulation adjustment of a machine in spinning preparation, in particular a regulated draw frame, a carding machine, or a combing machine, to which one or more fiber bands are continually fed. The apparatus has at least one sensor which is positioned ahead of the feed end of a draw frame machine for the purpose of capturing the values of band thicknesses of one or more of the entering fiber bands. The apparatus also has at least one delivery end sensor located at the delivery end of the draw frame machine for the purpose of capturing the values of the band thickness of the produced fiber band of a first draw frame operational mode. The apparatus also includes a microprocessor for the comparing of the captured values of the at least one delivery end sensor to those of at least a second draw frame operational mode, whereby the second draw frame operational mode does not represent the normal operational mode of the draw frame machine.
