The display device includes an image receiver configured to receive packetized image data of an encoded image signal or a bit stream of image data of the encoded image signal, a decoder configured to parse metadata from the packetized image data or bit stream and decode the image signal from the image data of the encoded image signal; and an HDR image processor configured to analyze HDR information in the metadata, and generate an HDR image of the image signal from the analyzed HDR information and the decoded image signal.

Abstract: According to the present invention, a battery-cooling system for an electric vehicle is configured such that the cool air cooled by an air-conditioning device is directly supplied to a battery without passing through the interior of a vehicle, thus enabling the interior of the vehicle and the battery to be cooled independently from each other, thereby not only preventing noise or foreign substances from entering the battery from the interior of the vehicle, but also controlling a vehicle interior cooling operation and a battery cooling operation independently from each other. Further, a battery-cooling system for an electric vehicle according to the present invention is configured such that a suction fan is arranged at a discharge duct for discharging air from the interior of a battery, thus enabling air in the interior of the battery to be suctioned and discharged by the suction fan.

Abstract: A portable self-defense spray to protect a person from danger under an emergency situation is provided. The compressive-spray structure includes a compact case manufactured in various designs by using a flexible long-length filling tube filled with the CN solution. In a typical spray structure, CN solution is always sprayed at only a right position, the filled CN solution is not completely exhausted, and the design of the self-defense spray is limited. The filling tube to receive the CN solution is provided in the case without being twisted. The vacuum pump operating member cooperating with the button member having the spray port is installed at one side of the filing tube. A cap is provided at an opposite side of the filling tube for the sealing purpose. Vacuum is generated with the pressing of the button member, so that the CN solution in the filling tube is sprayed due to compression.

The display apparatus includes an image receiver which receives an image, an image processor which divides the received image into a left-eye image and a right-eye image and processes the same, an image output device which alternatingly outputs the left-eye image and the right-eye image, and a controller which calculates a difference in a pixel value between the left-eye and right-eye images based on units relating to the pixels that constitute the left-eye and right-eye images, detects a crosstalk generating area by using the calculated pixel value difference and a preset response speed of a display panel, and controls so that the detected crosstalk generating area is displayed distinguishably from at least one other area.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a stereoscopic image generation method of background terrain scenes, a system using the same, and a recording medium for the same. The stereoscopic image generation method of background terrain scenes includes an initial mesh creation step of creating an initial mesh using terrain geometry based on image sequences, a geometry error correction step of generating a projection map, detecting error regions of the initial mesh using the generated projection map, generating a vector map of the detected error regions, and generating a corrected mesh, error of which is corrected, and a stereo conversion step of generating a stereoscopic image using the corrected mesh. Since the stereoscopic image is generated based on the mesh, the mesh fits the terrain shape even though the geometry is complex. Further, time coherence can be enforced, the mesh can be edited easily, and new elements can be unseamingly composed into the terrain.

Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle, having a cooling air duct disposed within a battery to move cooling air for cooling the battery, so as to enable same to be compact and improve space utilization, in order to optimize cooling performance within a limited space. The vehicle of the present invention also includes a battery-cooling unit that exchanges heat and cools air ventilated from the passenger compartment and then supplies the air to the battery, so as to use the air from the passenger compartment with minimal effects on the air temperature in the passenger compartment, and more efficiently cool the battery. Further, the vehicle and method for controlling same according to the present invention can detect the temperatures of the battery and of the passenger compartment, and determine whether to cool the air in the passenger compartment using a heat exchanger in accordance with each detected temperature, or control the rotation speed of a ventilation fan, in order to more efficiently cool the battery.

According to the present invention, information stored in a mobile terminal may safely be shared with another mobile terminal in a local wireless communication area.
