  • Patent number: 9934349
Abstract: A method for design rule verification is provided. The method comprises: providing a design rule check (DRC) deck based on a design rule manual (DRM) having a plurality of design rules; providing a plurality of primitive objects; creating a plurality of collection objects, each collection object using one or more primitive objects; using the plurality of collection objects, creating a plurality of DRM test cases; assigning names to each of the plurality of DRM test cases, each of the names based on a rule name of the plurality of design rules and on an expected pass or fail indication; and using the plurality of named DRM test cases to verify the DRC deck.

  • Publication number: 20130325722
Abstract: The methods and systems described herein include a data gateway adapted to automate payment reconciliation between a buyer and a supplier of goods and services. The data gateway can be configured to receive and validate payment instructions for one or more payment transactions between the buyer and the supplier to select a payment method based on the payment instructions. Transaction request messages are generated and transmitted to a payment processing network or a payment transfer system associated with the selected payment method. A payment reconciliation message can then be generated and transmitted by the data gateway to a buyer adapter associated with a buyer computer system and a supplier adapter associated with a supplier computer system when the data gateway receives payment authorization from the payment processing network or payment transfer system.

  • Patent number: 6645942
Abstract: The present invention is a somatic cell gene therapy method that is especially useful for the treatment of certain diseases that are caused by gene defects. According to the invention, fibroblast cells are transduced so that they express a “replacement” gene of interest. These transduced fibroblasts are preferably fixed in vitro in an extracellular matrix, and then implanted in the loose connective tissue of the skin of an individual or animal to be treated. Because the fibroblasts are implanted in a highly vascularized compartment of the skin i.e., loose connective tissue of the dermis, the transduced cells, and thus their “replacement” gene products, have direct access to the circulatory system. As a result the needed replacement gene products can easily and efficiently be distributed to other parts of the body. When the gene therapy is no longer needed, the implanted fibroblasts can be conveniently removed.

  • Patent number: 6541238
Abstract: The present invention relates to the compositions and methods associated with the cloning of the catalytic subunit of cellulose synthase responsible for catalyzing cellulose biosynthesis. The invention relates further to compositions and methods for obtaining host cells containing recombinant cellulose synthase as well as compositions and methods for obtaining cellulose synthase from natural sources. In certain aspects, the present invention provides methods for the cloning of an 83 kd subunit of the cellulose synthase enzyme from Acetobacter xylinum.
