Abstract: Systems, methods and techniques are disclosed for ad hoc file, selected/highlighted section and link sharing for gatherings, presentations, meetings, classes, lectures, trade shows, conferences, proximity marketing, ad hoc messaging, and broadcast, cable and streaming shows. In some embodiments, a system may be comprised of a Computing Device, one or more Mobile Devices and a Remote Server. An application, the Share App, on the Computing Device may be used to upload a First Package of Data comprised of a file, selected/highlighted section or link to the Remote Server over an Internet/network connection, and share the First Package of Data with one or more Mobile Devices by transmitting Bluetooth Low Energy Advertisements with a Unique ID, which may be received by the Mobile Devices and may be used by the Share App on the Mobile Devices to download and display the First Package of Data from the Remote Server.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and techniques are disclosed for transmitting advertising packets. The system comprises a beacon device and a display coupled to the beacon device. The device is operable to transmit a Bluetooth Low Energy communications signal and may send an advertisement packet to a user device via the Bluetooth Low Energy communications signal. The device may also display a display message on the display. The display message may correspond to the advertisement packet and may be used to provide information about the advertisement packet and to draw the user's attention to steps to receive the advertisement packet. The advertising packet and the display message may be updated at a remote dashboard. Scheduling of the display of the display message and transmission of the advertisement packets may be used to provide targeted advertising.

Abstract: The invention allows a mobile device such as a smart phone or tablet to be designed to dissipate heat through the battery or battery casing to the back and sides of the enclosure, which allows better passive cooling for hand-held applications, and more importantly allows the mobile device to be used as a high-performance desktop computer by plugging the mobile device into a cradle with forced-air cooling. The cradle connects to external displays, keyboards, pointing devices, storage devices, peripherals, networks, and audio devices. The invention allows a mobile device to perform desktop computing tasks on a large desktop monitor, such as browsing the Internet; writing or editing documents, emails, websites, blogs or program code; viewing, editing or converting the format of photos and videos; playing games; and playing online or downloaded videos and music, as well as allowing faster battery charging.

Abstract: The invention allows a 3D effect to be observed on non-3D specific screens by displaying multiple discrete views of a scene in a sinusoidal or triangle camera displacement waveform with a frequency of approximately 3 Hz to 5 Hz. The invention improves on the current method of using only two views, which results in a jarring experience, and provides methods and formulas to optimize the 3D effect. The invention may be used on computers, kiosks, gaming consoles, laptops, tablets, cell phones, televisions, gaming devices, internet webpages and websites, projectors (for movies or presentations) or other displays.
