Abstract: A method for showing objects of geographic information by seriation of distance is disclosed. A central point on an electronic map provided by a website is appointed by an user. In a specific range around the central point, at least one target object required by an user is being searched. Every individual distance between the central point and the at least one searched target object is arranged in an order in accordance with seriation of distance. Finally, the arranged results are displayed in orders on a screen for a user to easily choose a best destination.

Abstract: In a method of selling software via network, a software provider pre-stores an executable program in a portable storage device; the executable program is executed automatically at a purchaser's personal computer connected to the storage device; the personal computer is connected to a software provider's server via a network after the executable program is executed; the input of required data (such as the software/hardware conditions of the personal computer and the purchaser's data) is required; and after the data is inputted server, the software purchased by the purchaser is transmitted to the purchaser's personal computer via a network for a direct installation of the software.

Abstract: An Internet phone dials a server through Internet and the sever analyzes an incoming call of the Internet phone for identifying a network system for the Internet phone. The server distributes corresponding application program to personal computer at user site through LAN. The user site receives phone call through personal computer. Alternatively, the processed Internet phone signal is sent to the server and the signal is sent to the PBX after analog to digital conversion of the gateway box. The PBX sends the address number from the calling party to the conventional phone of the called party to achieve communication between Internet phone and conventional phone. When user dials Internet phone, he selects Internet phone program through computer and clicks Internet phone number or account, or he directly dials through a conventional phone, whereby the conventional phone at user site can communicate with Internet phone.

Abstract: A portable Internet phone uses a portable memory media with storage function and connected to a computer system. The portable memory media is linked to a network server through the computer system and network communication software stored in the portable memory media is performed to display a dialing number keypad (or address book) for peer-to-peer Internet phone dialing and answering. The portable memory media uses one of a wireless audio receiver/transmitter unit and an audio receiver/transmitter unit for peer-to-peer voice conversation to overcome the limitation of requiring the network communication software to be built-in the computer system.

Abstract: A bridge apparatus for Internet telephone exchange and an Internet phone system. The bridge apparatus is connected with a telephone exchange to form an Internet telephone exchange. An ordinary phone can make phone call through the Internet telephone exchange, a router and Internet to a remote Internet phone after the ordinary phone is dialed. Moreover, a remote Internet phone also can make phone call to a local ordinary phone through Internet, the router, the Internet telephone exchange.

Abstract: A computer keyboard integrated with Internet phone service includes a keyboard controller, a USB hub and an audio controller. The keyboard controller receives an input command from the keyboard. The USB hub relays the signal of the keyboard controller to the computer, and relays the digital signal of the computer to the audio controller, and relays the digital signal of the audio controller to the computer. Moreover, the audio controller receives the digital signal from the USB hub and converts the analog signal to analog signal. The audio controller receives the analog signal from a conversation unit and converts the analog signal to digital signal for sending to the USB hub and then sending to the computer. Therefore, user can performs Internet conversation through Internet with remote host and telephone set.

Abstract: A card duplicator, particularly an apparatus operative to duplicate small amount of card entities or electronic files with a high speed. The card duplicator has a card input device, a controller, a display, a command input device and a printer output port. The card input device is a scanner, a disk drive, or a compact disk drive that can convert the card entity into an electronic file and input the electronic file into the controller. The electronic file is then displayed by the display. By inputting the number of required copies and the scaling parameter, a printing signal is sent to a printer connected to the printer output port. The cards are then printed by the printer. For each A4 sized paper, ten cards may be printed thereon.

First, a specific demand event to be searched is set at one's own server, and several website addresses, BBS addresses, or related server addresses are inputted. A searching program then actively collects related data, and stores the data into a database. Next, the server picks out communication information and mating data and then actively invites the supplier and the demander to enter the website. After the supplier and the demander are informed, they can connect to the website to register and input article data or demand conditions. The website performs relational mating of supply and demand and then displays the mating result. If the requirements of the supplier and the demander are met, they can contact each other through data provided by the database. Supply and demand can thus be more effectively and quickly accomplished.

Abstract: A portable storage device for presentation and having laser pointing function comprises a case and a cover assembled on one side of the case. The case contains a storage unit for data storage and a USB interface. The portable storage device has plug-and-play ability to a computer through the USB interface and can send data to the computer. The cover has a laser diode connected to a circuit board within the cover. The cover further has a switch to control the on/off operation of the laser diode. The presentation data in the storage unit can be downloaded to the computer and the cover with laser diode can be operated as a laser pointer.
