Abstract: A battery housing for a traction battery may include a first housing part and a second housing part fixed removably to each other. Battery modules of the traction battery may be fixable on the first housing part. The housing may also include a reinforcing structure having a plurality of reinforcing ribs reinforcing the first housing part, and a ducted structure with a plurality of coolant ducts for a coolant fixed on the first housing part. The plurality of coolant ducts may each be connectable to a respective temperature-control unit of a battery module in a coolant-conducting fashion. At least one of the coolant ducts may be at least partially embedded in one of the reinforcing ribs.
