  • Patent number: 8329256
Abstract: The invention relates to a process and a device for the production of mouldings containing a layer of polyurethane in shot operation, in which a gas stream is introduced into the flow channel of the spray device in at least two positions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 3, 2008
Date of Patent: December 11, 2012
    Assignee: Hennecke GmbH
Inventors: Wolfgang Pawlik, Dominik Obeloer, Ingo Kleba
  • Patent number: 7972676
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of fiber-reinforced composite components in which an outer film is bonded with a layer containing fiber-reinforced polyurethane, characterised in that a) first an elastic intermediate layer which has a modulus of elasticity of 0.5 MPa to 50 MPa and a thickness of 0.3 mm to 6 mm, is applied to the outer film which has a thickness in the range of 0.2 mm to 5 mm, and then b) at least one other layer is applied to the back of the intermediate layer, at least one layer containing fiber-reinforced polyurethane being applied.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 7, 2006
Date of Patent: July 5, 2011
    Assignee: Bayer MaterialScience AG
Inventors: Ingo Kleba, Frank Berghahn, Andreas Petersohn, Hans-Guido Wirtz, Klaus Franken, Detlef Mies, Marc Schütze, Dirk Wegener

  • Publication number: 20070164131
Abstract: Structural elements are produced by applying a polyurethane (PUR)-forming reactive mixture and solid particles to a fibrous web in amounts such that the particle density is from 0.01 to 10.0 g of solid particles/cm2 of coated fibrous web surface being set, and then pressing to harden the fibrous web coated with the not-fully-cured polyurethane reactive mixture containing solid particles.
    Type: Application

    Publication date: July 19, 2007
    Inventors: Ingo Kleba, Hans-Guido Wirtz
  • Publication number: 20060127589
Abstract: A device and process for the production of single- or multi-layered films or compound moldings which have at least one layer of reactive plastic. The liquid reactive mixture is sprayed from a spray nozzle on to a surface. The jet spray is set in oscillation and the amplitude and/or frequency of the oscillation is adjusted during the spraying operation. Adjustment of the oscillation changes the spray area.

  • Publication number: 20050173846
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of polyurethane moldings by the reaction-injection-molding process, in which at least one isocyanate component and at least one polyol component are delivered in metered manner into a mixing chamber, are mixed in the mixing chamber to form a polyurethane reaction mixture and the polyurethane reaction mixture is then discharged via a runner into the cavity of a mold, characterized in that a pressure is exerted on the polyurethane reaction mixture in the cavity by means of a pressure medium, which pressure is sufficiently high for defects, which arise by reactive and/or thermal shrinkage, and/or entrapped air pockets to be closed, wherein the pressure medium is introduced into at least one overflow cavity hydraulically connected with the cavity, and/or is introduced into the runner.
