Abstract: An activation/retraction mechanism for a lancing device comprising a pusher (10; 20; 30; 40; 50) comprising a first biasing member arranged to displace the pusher in a distal direction; and a lancet holder comprising a lancet for penetrating the skin of a subject, and a second biasing member arranged to displace the lancet holder in a proximal direction; wherein the lancet holder and the pusher are arranged in a housing of the lancing device in such a way that a distal end of the pusher engages a proximal end of the lancet holder to push the lancet holder in a distal direction when the first biasing member displaces the pusher distally. The distal end of the pusher and the proximal end of the lancet holder are arranged to disengage from each other when the pusher has been displaced dis-tally a predetermined length from its initial position, whereby the lancet holder may re-turn to its initial position under influence of the second biasing member.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement for preventing or at least reducing high acoustic pressure levels reaching the tympanic membrane of an ear. In particular, the present invention relates to an arrangement for preventing or at least reducing high acoustic pressure levels reaching the tympanic membrane of an ear by means of placing a protector in an external auditory canal of said ear. The ear protector comprises members for easily engaging or disengaging the ear protector.

Abstract: An adaptable plug is intended to be inserted into power supply hole devices. The plug comprises a grip member and an insertion member, wherein the insertion member comprises a first contact means for power connection at the bottom of the hole, and an adaptation member situated in front of the grip member. The adaptation member is provided with at least one electrically conducting adaptation means. The said adaptation means comprises a base and legs, wherein edges between the legs and the base form at least two connection areas, to be brought into contact to the inner wall of the power supply hole device for supplying power to the plug.

Abstract: Locking device for a connector for cooperation with a recess of a member with which the connector is to be connected, said locking device being made of spring elastic material and comprising two shanks which are movable towards and away from each other. At least one of the shanks has, at its end opposite the connector, on its side facing away from the other shank, a protruding hooking means. The shanks are tapered in the direction towards the end opposite the connector and pass over into resilient portions, which have substantially even thickness, have thinner walls than the shanks and project towards each other, said resilient portions being connected by a connecting portion. At the ends facing the connector the shanks form a functionally common base portion.

Abstract: A sprung attachment arm for sound attenuating devices intended to form part of a head stirrup or to be fitted to a protective helmet. The arm (2) is constructed so that one end thereof can be attached to a protective ear muff (4) in a manner to spring-press the ear muff against the head of the wearer. The arm (2) has a substantially straplike configuration along at least part of its length and a cross-section through the straplike part presents at least one part which functions as a sprung leg (5) which forms an angle with adjacent parts of the straplike part (2). The straplike part (2) will preferably include at least two mutually angled sprung legs (5). A sprung arm of this configuration will produce an abutment pressure which will vary only slightly in response to different head sizes.
