  • Patent number: 11980288
Abstract: A locking system for retractable and removable bins, and methods of use thereof, are provided. The locking system includes a retractable latch disposed within a carrier sized and shaped to receive one or more delivery bins. The locking system further includes a first retention feature disposed on the bin and configured to receive the latch in a first locked configuration where horizontal and vertical movement of the bin relative to the latch is prohibited. Additionally, the locking system includes a second retention feature disposed on the bin distal to the first retention feature and configured to receive the latch in a second locked configuration. The second retention feature has an opening such that, in the second locked configuration, vertical movement of the bin relative to the latch is permitted to thereby remove the bin from the latch through the opening.

  • Publication number: 20230250686
Abstract: Exemplary closure member systems for motor vehicles may include one or more power hinge assemblies, non-powered hinge assemblies, or both and are configured to displace a closure member to a fully open position of at least 100 degrees relative to its closed position. The hinge assemblies may embody a multi-axis design for moving the closure member between the closed and fully open positions. The closure member systems may be further configured to move the closure member along different swing paths during an opening sequence and a closing sequence.

  • Patent number: 11590872
Abstract: An articulation assembly for a vehicle seat includes a planar engagement surface. An inflatable member is operably coupled to the planar engagement surface. The inflatable member includes a plurality of polyhedral bodies that are configured to be formed via additive manufacturing. Each of the polyhedral bodies has a foldable portion that defines crease lines. A plurality of elastomeric members are disposed on each crease line. A planar base includes a port fluidly coupled to the polyhedral bodies. A manifold is fluidly coupled to the port of the planar base and is configured to translate fluid through the port to the polyhedral bodies.
